Somehow, all my seeds break the soil on Sundays. My last four were all Sunday, the chritral kushes were sunday, this lady is Sunday, my two other seeds im popping came up as well. Makes it so easy to track the days though. The Big Kush i have growing popped on a Tuesday tho, so I gotta account for that two day difference.
This lady to replace one of the northern lights coming out this week.
Growing nicely. Nothing of real mention really yet. Not as picky about the RH, like the Mendocino madness hate the low humidity.
Not sure if I'll top her and.or mainline as that takes time and I'm about to start chopping my flowers, and want to harvest around the new years again and these seedlings will probably only get two or three weeks under the MH.
so far so good. She seems to have little branches started already so she might be easy to train. Maybe an early top and a main line. Don't think she'll need fertilizer anytime soon but her leaves a little bright so maybe a light grow fert, but she's in soil so shouldn't need much.
Nice structure so far, very early branching.
Plant is growing well with no mentions yet. Repotted it last week.I have low expectations because I don't know much about this strain, but being part of the "white" family and being a greenhouse seed I think it should be pretty nice.
D25: looking great and nice and bright.
D26: Foliar fed with homemade fermented fish fertilizer. Love this stuff. Took a whole fish from the discount area at the store, about a lb. With bones but no guts. Sliced into chunks and blended up. Added a bit of water, a half cup of unsulfured molasses, and two probiotic caplets. The probiotic contains a few different strains of Lactobacilli, causing fermentation. Keep the jug it's all in cracked or burp it a few times a day as the bacteria release CO2 and can make the container explode.
It's done when it smells like vinegar and not so much fish
This cold fermented fish is then strained and bottled, and placed into the fridge. Super concentrated fish hydrosylate.
D27: another spray of fish. They seemed to like it.
Very indica and kushy looking. Very short, nice branching so far. Not going to top her yet as I want to see she ends up being. Been spraying with fish fertilizer.
D32: very nice looking but not much smell from the stems or leaves. Very wide and large fan leaves, nice and short still and she's got branches. Still debating whether to top or not. Maybe once she gets transplanted
D35: Nice spacing between the nodes, nice and short, nice wide leaves. Very Indica looking. I didn't want to top her because she was so short and branchy so I just tied her down
D37: can't get over how squat and wide she is. Just lovely.
D40: tied her down again and cut off a fan leaf. Gave her a feed of organic grow
D41: she responds to the lst well. Nice and green on top, lots of branches coming. Should extend a bit next week.
D42: very nice and green. First time in this new soil mix and it's been great so far. She's also handling LST very well. The tent will get switched to flowering in probably three weeks or so when my other plants canopy evens out.
D44: LST the tip of the plant again, and pulled two leaves off. Got 11 branches atm that I opened up to some light
D46: this plant is so stocky that any clone I take is going to be like, 1.5" long. Might take a clone in flower when it stretches. It's growing very nice and green, and the branches have branches. I think the tent will be in flowering at the end of next week or so
D50: looking great. The side branches are all nice and even, and this plant holds true to the description, short and branchy. Take a look at that one pic and you can see a branch isn't even 2 inches long and it's got branches of its own. Ten more days until flower probably, but I'm going to take a branch or two for cloning. This looks to be a nice plant and I want to keep a cut so I don't feel bad about trying to clone in flower. Cloning gel should come by Friday. And with flower coming up in gonna install the screen soon. This plant is so squat I don't think it'll reach the second net though
D55: switched the tent to 12/12 on Thursday, this is the second full day of flower. This plant started getting light green growth so I gave it a shot of foliar fish and a glug of organic grow. My guess is it's just getting hungry as she wants to stretch.
Got a missed delivery notification for my new screen so I'll have to wait to at least Tuesday.
D56: light green nodes, gave some more Organic grow and a small blip of cal mag with iron to make sure it's not an iron deficiency. Has definitely stretched in the last two days since I switched. This plant was ready and fast to respond to 12/12. Think she's gonna be a heavy feeder and producer.
D58: another small glug of organic grow, but I noticed the light green colour goes away after work, so it must be lighter in the morning after the lights come on.
D59: screen went in.
D63: not much to say. Been getting water and it's been growing. Very stocky and I actually hope it stretches a bit. The main bud is absolutely fat.
D64/F11: gonna start labelling days by flowering time. Also switched my bulb from MH to HPS last night, already seeing some brighter green as the plants are ready to explode
F14: so much growth occuring but still little stretching. I want to be able to move some of these branches around but some still don't even reach the netting yet. If you flip back and forth from today and yesterday you can see a lot of the branches grew nearly an inch in a day.
F18, been working for the last two days and haven't been able to check on them. This one handled the inconsistency well while the other was a little droopy. She fattened up much more than the other one in the few days.
F22, she exploded this week. Not much stretch, but dense flowers. Already started resin production, leaves are starting to get some crystals.
F23: growing very nicely. Just ideal. Gonna take clones from a low branch that hasn't reached the net. I'll have two clones of this to keep a mother of. This plant is flowering so fast, already putting on resin. Very short and branchy, ideal for indoor.
Next time I'm not gonna scrog her tho, she's too dense and short and doesn't fill the net. I think based on how fast she's finishing and her dense upright structure she'd make a perfect SOG. A bunch of single colas, very fat. May try a sog with her later this year if I can get enough cuttings from the mothers.
F28: never really stretched but she packing it on now. Beautiful almost perfumey smell is so nice and nostalgic cause it smells like an old crush haha. Resin production already as well so I'm hoping she's sticky af by the end.
D30: growing like mad still. Gonna be among the thickest I've seen. You can see in the picture of the branches why there's one big main bud still in this scrog, and why I have high hopes for a sea of green with this plant. Very nice smelling, not skunky or weedy at all.
She's also handling the low af humidity in this dry Canadian climate very well.
F37: uploaded some pics of my tent as well.
With Christmas coming up I'll be gone for the week, so I hooked up an automatic watering system. Just a pump and some drippers set up to run on a one minute timer every morning.
She's getting real thick. Wonder how long she'll grow for.
Have a good week holiday, the automatic watering system worked fantastic. I used my mixing trash can as a water reservoir and it seems like it could hold up to two weeks of water in case of longer vacations.
Pistils are starting to turn orange and it seems like it's putting on its final flowers. Kind of weird that they're looking a little bit like foxtails on the main Bud though considering the temp is only like 25 degrees.
I feel like another week or two a flower and it will chunk up. I think by the middle of January to be ready to chop. Maybe 3 weeks?
F48: putting on more bud and more white hairs. This is nuts. I want her to start swelling, but she just keeps putting out flowers instead.
F50, starting to fade the last few days. Gave a dose of fish and organic bloom on f50 I think. Need to break out the good camera to get a peek at the trichomes but I think it'll be done reallllly soon.
See above comments. It was a great plant very easy to grow, very non-demanding. The thrips seem to like it at first but disappeared about halfway through
