This is really 3.5 weeks. The stem was very soft and it got some heat stress on top new growth cupping so i lsted it and bent it down. I forgot to add cal mag since i use RO so i flushed it First runoff was 2500 ppm! Must have been the silica i added to try strengthen it but i got it down to 700ppm run off then added RO with 5ml/gal 160ppm flush ph'd to 5.8. Run off was around 6 so i should be ok.

My stem is weak but hollow and healthy. I have stretch but i had to raise the panel due to light stress so can't be due to to lights. I have two fans one on the floor and one clipped to pole near top always on so im not sure what could cause the stretch and weak stem?

Don’t know about the strain but it looks lanky with big internode spacing. Must be mostly if not all sativa genetics. I’ve seen hollow stems on many of my plants and it has not seemed to cause any issues with development or yields. Just the structure of the plant. Just my two cents worth

Oy so it just came out of 36 hours dark and few days 10/14 and today it just bursted all over with gorgeous white pistols. Today i put it on 18/6...i guess ill find out in 2 weeks time if this is a super auto or bogus. At least it's a girl! Also on the branch with the twist tie on it i just sprayed home made Collodial silver on it and will try to do so twice a day n see what happens. Stem rub has a typical sweet skunky smell.

Well it's been two weeks since 18+ hours light and it seems to have stayed in flowering! I have been trying to spray a branch with colloidal every day and still nothing :( Any advice appreciated. Would really live some IBL seeds for this super auto!

Unfortunately the buds when dried were pretty small but after a month to the point it's not squishy anymore it is a good smoke. I only got like 1 oz but that's also because I selfied a main lower branch and got seeds :) I learned something new: 4/5 Fpog i got from strainly the seeds in mois paper became black and died. I tried this again with one of the selfied seeds, day 2 seed shell black...I learned about popping landrace seeds so I took it in between fingers and popped one of it's S1s and guess what? 3rd day inbetween cotton pads they opened! I guess some strains you need to scruff or use organic soil so it breaks down the shell eventually. Ill have to post more pics. Im hoping some of the F2 S1 selfie seeds actually Autolflower outdoors in summer.

Hey, I saw you resolved your question already but, I have a question for you about your set up. What light are you running for this indoor grow?
GYOweed
GYOweedcommented5 years ago
@@themilkman, It's 120w draw mix led. agree, however, this light does have some blues and white but still 4:1 red:blue but you're right about seedlings. I bought those cheap 225 led 20w in 450nm blue for my seedlings in veg/auto tent and they seem greener. They were just not bushing out as that room has stronger flowering leds too until I added this one.

@GYOweed, my opinion is that your lights are really more geared toward flowering. The general rule is ( the more blue the less stretch ). Plants stretch when there is a lack of blue light, regardless of the intensity or "brightness". A really decent/cheap veg light is the Viparspectra V300. Makes a ridiculous difference.

@@themilkman, yea it stopped stretching. Here: https://www.amazon.com/MINGER-Adjustable-Spectrum-Seedling-Greenhouse/dp/B07H232SJ8 But its on sale for 60 sometimes on the govee app. Govee is the new company name. I also have another tent with this and it seems brighter way less features though https://www.amazon.com/WattShine-Hydroponics-Lighting-Spectrum-Greenhouse/dp/B07DVZ2Z56 i measured the lux and used this to convert...it seems on PAR get it? Jk use the last spectrum red blue white. https://www.waveformlighting.com/horticulture/convert-lux-to-ppfd-online-calculator

Thanks Captain_7 for answering. It is a Hybrid and the leaves seem seem fat indica-ish. I hope it stops stretching by next week but I can always use this to practice my LST skills :)
