I did a heavy defoliating and lst 2 days ago. She is bouncing back. I had to tske away my QB so its going under a 130W blurple only... I have a ES180 on the way. I have also topped the soil in the pot, it is now full.
I was too busy last week, I did not post...
I did a little defolistion yesterday.
The plant just finished recovering from my mistake...
I was too excited to get the new light I guess.
The plant got under watered and light stressed for 2-3 days before I realized what was going on...
Its back on track now !!
The plant still seems stressed. I have installed a blumat system.
Its working great, I just need to get it dialed in.
Any input on my plant health is welcome.
I have been super busy in the last months.
The plants also had s hard time, by the time if figure the issue and they recover a bit I made the flip to 12/12.
Its has been 3 weeks and 4 days since flip.
It has been sizing up nicely!!
The smell is getting stronger, I really enjoy handling her, it gets the smell out.
This is my second grow, I have learned alot and still have lots to learn.
I am letting the blumats do most of the work, they are pretty dialed in now.
I have raised the light a bit.
The leaves have gotten a bit less yellow but there is still something wrong.
I will look into it.
I think I have a few weeks left.
The overall health has improve a tiny bit.
The buds smell strong and are rrally dense.
I am hoping for a decent outcome !!
The buds are still swelling, I will let thrm go a bit more before harvest.
I had a few issues during this grow which prevented me from reaching the full potential of the ES180.
Next run should be much better !!
There is still an issue with my girl...
The leaf tips curl and brown up.
She still did bulk up a bit in the last week.
I will be cutting her down soon.
The smell is truly master kush !!
I have now figured I had PH issues during this grow. I believe this is why my yield suffered so much. The buds are dense and covered in trichs. The next ones will be better !!
Looks like you have some nutrient deficiencies. What are you feeding her, and what is the PH of the solution you are giving her?
Careful with that humidity level, it's rather low, and so you will need to make sure the soil doesn't stay dry for too long, while still avoiding over-watering.
@Eryan,
Thanks for the input.
I am aware of the need for bacteria, I am using compost teas on occasion.
I get my water from the tap filtered through a filter designed for hydroponics.
I then PH it around 6.5.
I will look into the deficiencies you referred.
Thank you !
@MagooYFZ, Using organic ingredients means then that you also need to have a somewhat living soil, with bacteria. So you can't use straight tap water for instance, because it would be chlorinated and kill bacteria. If it's been allowed to sit at room temperature for around 24 hours though it should be ok. To help increase bacterial activity in the soil you could add some worm castings or a worm castings tea.
As for what's deficient, it looks like they're missing Zinc. Possibly the start of phosphorus deficiency as well considering the reddish tints in some of the veins / stems.
The soil could be deficient, or the nutrients could be locked out due to PH not being at the levels it should be.
