distractedgrower Placed both seeds in seprate cups of water on 8/28, cracked and taproot peeking 8/29, directly into Jiffy peat pods under humidity dome for 3 days. Sprouted on 9/2 planted in 1gal fabric pots 9/6. I was afraid of overwatering but ended up underwatering based on the environment. Took a few days to correct it, but doing better now.

distractedgrower UPDATE - Harvested the remainder of the Critical Kush today going to attempt to reveg it for some clones - Moved these ladies into my now vacant flower room under the 210 actual watt blurple on 18/6. It is way easier to control the environment in this space (veg space is a windowsill intake/exhausted outside). Not claiming genetics, may have been the underwatering or something else, but the Seedsman Cheese almost stopped growth completely and started growing to the side. I have a 36" tower fan in a 30x30" space, it was circulating on high and was WAY too strong for them, may have stunted it that way not sure. Started adding Canna Terra Vega second week at 0.75ml/l (1/8th strength), they seemed to take well so bumped up to 1.5ml/l (1/4 strength), have been feeding every watering, may give them fresh water next time.

distractedgrower Somewhat following Nebula's Manifold guide to produce a more symmetrical hopefully more even canopy this time. Topped the Cheese today - it was still short but had 6 nodes really close together, very bushy. These are the thickest stems and knuckles I've had so far!

distractedgrower Cheese is still pretty slow to catch up, but nothing noticeably wrong - if you think otherwise, please let me know! First 2 shots of Caramelino from Oct 13, second 2 from Oct 14 after topping again and removing second nodes. The Caramelino smells very, VERY potent already!

distractedgrower Set up a ScrOG. Not completely sure what I am doing but they're looking good so far, I think. I want to give the Cheese (left) another week or two to fill in a bit more. You can see she had less stress training because she was behind but has caught up quite nicely! Started to notice slight nute burn on tips again, so last feeding was just PHd water. According to my $20 Amazon PH tester (hasn't been calibrated since before last harvest), my runoff is right at 6.5, so that's good, right?

How much longer should I let these go before flipping? The Caramelino(right) has been tucked in the screen for 2 weeks, Cheese(left) just hit screen a day ago. Beginning of week 10, should I let the Cheese fill the screen in more before flipping? Thanks!

Allright Mate, have a look at my diary, I have 3 Sour Ripper on SCROG in the Box. The Señorita in the front is 10 days younger than the other 2. (One Seedling died after germination) I just brought it up on the same height to the other 2. I installed the screen right after I changed to 12/12. But mine are Sativas, so the stretch, after changing light schedule, is bigger than at your Indicas. Hope this will help a bit. Cheerz and good luck with your Ladies... Gams

distractedgrower Lost track of the weeks, think this was end of week 3 flower. Today's feeding as their last of Canna Terra Vega, switching over to Canna Terra Flores for flower (I aven't invested in the Accelerator Boost or the P 13/14 yet. They haven't got much attention due to the holidays, they have been going 6-7 days between waterings, usually I need to water after 5-6 days. The Cheese stinks, like the smell is VERY potent and really not that great. My wife hates it, I however don't mind it as it makes me think of some of the best weeds I have smoked, not socks lol. My entire bathroom (flower box is in bathroom closet) reeks like dirty yet fruity and dieseley socks. Here's to hoping my neglect doesn't turn them herm!

distractedgrower Up front, I cloned the Caramelino main top (1gal fabric pot still), and popped a bag seed(solo cup still) around veg week 8 (I think), I was busy(lazy) and didn't have anywhere to veg, so just let them stretch up to the canopy. Not transplanting them, going to just use them for some experiments. This is their first feeding of Canna Terra Flores, I haven't invested in (can't afford) their Boost Accelerator or PK 13/14 yet. I think I might get a 250ml of each, while I learn no-till with some tomatoes maybe?! I have been continuing to defoliate weekly since the week before flipping. Snipping some older, dying leaves and big fan leaves that wouldn't stay tucked. I am getting worried with stretching my waterings 6-7 days. The 2 little ones up front start wilting by day 5, by day 7 they're very limp. The ladies start showing a little wilting come day 6, but perk right up within an hour or two of getting water. They seem to be flowering slower than I anticipated, but hey it's only my second grow as long as I'm learning (and not completely wasting my time) I'm happy!

distractedgrower The holidays are over, hopefully they won't be neglected anymore. I am going to get back on track with watering them on time. I will likely just continue feed Flores up until harvest. The Caramelino has a delicious sweet, yet very chem/dieseley aroma and the Cheese still reeks like rotting milk. The smell of the Cheese isn't pleasant (I don't know if it reminds me of some danks from the past, or if it's just my brain knowing what it is and anticipating it), but I enjoy it, can't wait to taste it! They don't really seem to be filling out as nice as I'd expect so I lowered the light 6" from 18 to 12" from top cola now. I'll keep an eye on them but I took the solo cup bag seed and placed the cup on top the soil of the cheese, fed the 2 long stems through the scrog and their tops sat about 12" away from the light for the last 2 weeks with no sign of burn or bleaching, however it didn't make it's way the lat 7 day stretch without water - being that close to the light didn't seem to affect the water in the soil very much, still didn't start wilting until the fifth days. Caramelino clone from main top in 1l fabric pot was topped and just has 4 long branches reaching up to the canopy. The longest main cola got long enough to kinda tuck under the scrog and its got a decent bud on top, the shorter of the 2 mains is about 1" below the scrog. I took this opportunity to try super cropping, so I massaged the 2 side shoots and bent them down on a 90, without breaking the skin haha (they're super thin stems lol). Despite the neglect and abuse, I haven't seen any signs of nanners! Temps are dropping below 16C at night now, 20C seems to be the daytime high, haha. Sitting between 35-55% RH now, higher than veg atleast, lower than my first grow during flower. My box/tent (2x4s, 2x2s, 5mil poly and lots of duct tape) is fairly airtight - intake is a 5v 90mm pc case fan sock filter, exhaust is 12v 140mm server case fan no filter. I definitely have negative air pressure, The last few night cycles I have been turning the exhaust fan off in hopes of the flowers filling out a bit more. I read that negative pressure during lights off will produce more stretch - will be trying that right from flip next go.

distractedgrower Cheese isn't quite ready, next to no amber. Fed again - no flush - hopefully another 2 weeks. Less bud sites but I think she will yield more than the Caramelino

It's only been curing for a week, and I made a lot of mistakes, but it smokes pretty well. I would say it's more of a night time smoke, not sure if that's because of trichome maturity or indica dominant genetics. It tastes really good, like fresh berries - I'm horrible at distinguishing terpines so take that with a grain of salt haha.

distractedgrower I missed another crucial watering by a day, the Caramelino was all dried out, sugar leaves and almost all fan leaves that were left were dead, just turned to dust. So I decided to check with my scope. The trich pictures that actually turned out clear don't do it justice - I spent over an hour with my scope and I would say atleast 70% amber... whoops haha I see the benefits to the long veg in order to manifold, if I had added the scrog sooner and filled out the screen completely BEFORE flip, I think I would have got atleast 2-3x more. After a 3 day dry (its super dry in my place) and 7 day cure (started in 2 jars, put into one jar 2 days ago) the Caramelino yielded 52g at exactly 62% (no boveda packs).
