White Widow Auto Deep Water Culture

I am debating trying a DWC system for my next Crop King grow. According to their website they will not guarantee seeds that have been put in starter pods. Does that mean that I take the exposed taproot seed and place within the clay pellets? Look forward to your reply Jim
