Hi Sativa, you really know your subject well, that takes time and dedication. your comments come from someone who properly understands phenos, recessive traits and so on, v interesting stuff. can be seen in your grow 👊
@sailormoonflowers, Thanks for the nice comment, maybe too nice. My grows are not that good as my environment isn't that great as it's a converted space under my porch. But I've managed to set up a second mini closet just for breeding a few times a year. I actually only got lucky on the understanding and breeding of the Thai. I hope to get lucky on other breeding stuff.
@Med_in_Tropic, I think any PURE Sativa is like this, I say I think but this is the only verifiable 100% Sativa I've had. And after growing a pure Sativa I'm sure nobody is going to sell it unless they get $500 an ounce.
@SativaKid, I hear you about performance weed.
There are Thai boxer smoke weed before the beat each other up. For me I have to be careful cuz i over train in the gym and pay the price later. LOL
@Med_in_Tropic, I usually trim the leaves 2 to 3 times during flower. The first trim I semi lollipop second trim a week later I finish the lollipop and then usually remove the leaves after the buds have fully grown. This plant has been hung up to dry since last night, today I will trim the leaves while it's hanging in my dry closet today as I got lazy . It. I have not tended my plants much lately because it's the end of the season in my semi outdoor Canadian grow and the last month of a grow is boring. This individual plant had been in 12/12 for probably 12-13 weeks. So I picked it early before the resin turns amber. I do this because I only give up a little THC on the top end but it's the speediest world known to man. I distance trail ride on my bicycle as a hobby and my riding buddy calls it performance weed and is begging me to not stop growing it. This whole process with the other two phenos being horrible grows and the super long growth process has me saying I'm only growing 1 or 2 Thai Girlies a year.
I noticed you grow many Thai strains. I have Thai stick seeds from MSNL seeds( https://grow-marijuana.com/Thai-stick-msnl/ ) that I will start soon. Any advice or secrets you can share me??!?🤘🏻
@SativaKid,Right on bro. I was thinking that too the skunk genetics maybe would make it a bit more stable just wanted your thoughts on it. Tnx a lot bro👍🤘🏻
@OceanGrown1, I just looked up Thai Sticks from MNSL. It's a Thai cross breed with a Skunk. This will make it way easier to grow and I'm sure it's going to be great weed. The Skunk Genetics probably stabilizes the Thai strain. This changes my advice a bit. They will not be so slow growing as once you cross the Thai it changes the growth characteristics. It also changes the weed.
@OceanGrown1, OK I'm back. The Thai seed I have from world of seeds is not a stable strain with multiple phenotypes. I found the Blonde strain to be the best Sativa I've had. It also outgrows the other two phenotypes. You can see the three strains in my Grow logs. Their confusing logs because I didn't document with pictures enough until I joined this site. Possibly the MSNL seed is stable. It might be different genetics all together, anything is possible.
Im starting WOS thai ryder, I noticed you germinate at higher temps in the 80-85 degrees range. Im having problems with other Sativa seeds I tried, and Im wondering is the 80 degree temp more effective than the 70 degree temp? For germination
