This is another of my little solo cup auto strain tests! Thanks again to FastBuds for offering so many strains to try out. I'm really excited to see what this Crystal Meth will do. Gotta admit, it's a sort of cringey name for a cannabis strain, but it won't stop me from trying her out. Here goes nothing! 😁👍🏻
Swapped to the 'big' tent on day 6. The small tent will be used to dry my harvested plants. Once they're finished, the autos will move back into the small tent.
Still awaiting my new soil and for the tiny tent to empty (photo plants are drying there). Other than that, she seems to be adjusting to the hotter, brighter tent okay. Hopefully the stress doesn't slow her down to much.
Still looking happy and healthy at day 11. Hopefully we can get her on a more permanent floor soon. 😅
Day 14 has her back at home in the 'beg tent'. Looking good. 😍
So far she's looking really good. Nice fat leaves and good even growth. Still only water for now. 😁👍🏻 Oh, and I still haven't gotten around to adding more soil, but I will.
I finally added that soil! 👍🏻 She's kicking butt so far. I really wanted to top her and train her, but my goal was to see her natural reaction and structure given the circumstances. I'm very pleased so far. 😁
She's kicking ass so far. 💪🏻 Good stretch and nice even growth on all nodes. She's just starting to flower, so I can't wait to see what colors and smells she had in store. 😍
Well, I gave her a bit of MegaCrop in her water to combat the symptoms of root bind that I usually see show up around this time. Unfortunately, I overdid it by quite a bit, I think. She's now suffering from nitrogen toxicity with her clawed leaves. I'm giving her only plain water in an attempt to flush the soil somewhat. I think she'll recover. 😅👍🏻
Last week, I way over did it on the MegaCrop I was sneaking in to help feed her. She got nitrogen toxicity quite badly and in a hurry. But she's been getting plain water for the past several days and seems to be making a recovery already. I think she'll be fine. Only real thing of note is how tightly she's grown together. Her branches all stand straight up next to the main stem, rather than outward and upward. Time will tell if this pays off or not.
She seems to have mostly recovered from the N tox. Now it seems she's slipping back the other way, as lower leaves yellow and curl. I'll begin adding MegaCrop again, but slowly. Just want to give her enough to not be hungry.
She's still slowly swelling up. Otherwise doing fine. Most of her N tox leaf curl has cleared up. She's kept the tight structure with branches pulled in very close to the main stem. I still find this a weird trait. I refuse to open her up. I really want to see how she does without interference. Should be less than a month left. 😁👍🏻
She has such beautifully contrasting colors. It's crazy! She's doing well and swelling up right now. Getting close, but I expect at least another two weeks. She hasn't really stretched anymore so I guess we just hope she gets super fat by then. 😉👍🏻
She's still swelling up all over the place. Other than that, she appears happy and mostly healthy. Can't wait for her to finish up and start a few more!
She's taking her sweet time finishing up. I was hoping for another chop at 9 weeks, but this one's going the distance. I'll assess again at the end of the week and see if she's ready.
She's stubbornly sticking it out. Not seeing much change over time anymore, but I intend to let her finish up the week, at least. Smells great, and looks amazing.
This is a beautiful strain, with crazy purple stems and buds contrasting brightly against the neon lime green leaves. She smells amazing too! Like berries and gas, it's intoxicating. Interestingly, she kept her branches pulled in tight to the main st throughout the grow. I didn't do anything to alter this behavior, and she turned out just fine. Overall, I'm very happy with this one. She was a teeny bit sensitive to nitrogen, but not too bad. I'd definitely grow this one again. It'd make a great Sea of Green strain imo.
I'll be back to update this after the buds have properly dried and I can make a final assessment. For now, I'm stoked with the turnout from a solo cup. 😉👍🏻
And I'm back with my quick review. I love this stuff. It's super tasty and has a great uppity high that keeps ya going for a while. I'm very happy with it. Buds were a bit on the airy side, but turned out nice. I'd certain ly grow this one again. 😉👍🏻
@Fast_Buds, thank you! Funny thing, your website describes a hazelnut flavor. I'm only seeming to pick up a sweet, berry kind of scent! Maybe the purple is tricking my brain to expect that flavor, lol. She's still drying, but I look forward to further testing. 😉👍🏻
@AvoidantGrower, thanks! I've really enjoyed my FastBuds solo cup grows. It's a great way to sample a strain without dedicating much resources. Can't wait to try them all!
