Spring is sucking here. Currently sticking with 24/24 light schedule to try keep temps up a bit. She's doin ok though. Gonna start with 1/2 recommended canna veg nutes this week and maybe start some LST but we'll see.
First week of LST and some veg nutes. I can see some pistils beginning to show. Is this early flowering stage?.. Seems bloody early. I'll stick with veg nutes for at least another week anywho.
So we're a couple weeks into flower now. I finally got my hands on a ph meter. Our water has a ph of 7.8 but with nutrients comes down to high 6s. Runoff ph was 6.3ish. I'll keep an eye on it the next few feeds and see what happens. Found a little caterpillar that had been munching on my leaves, no eggs that i could see so hopefully not a prob. Had a couple weekends where I've been away and girl has dried out a bit between waterings but she's held up under the stress ok.
Gal is lookin great. Buds frosting up and gaining some weight. Ended up finding a couple more caterpillars which i wasn't happy about. Fortunately they haven't done too much damage. Ph meter was best investment ever, not having any of the issues i did previously which were probs due to unsuitable ph and nute lockout.
This girl is speeding toward the finish line. Except for the very tops of the buds most of the pistils are still white so i haven't bothered looking closely at the trichs yet. Will be aiming for a 1 week flush with ph adjusted water. Such a low maintenance girl. Have been feeding with same regimen as my other girl and she's not been causing me any concern.
Girl is doing great. Trichs are clear and no hint of amber yet so still feeding nutes and just gonna watch her for now. Aiming for a 1 week flush so once i see some clouding up will think about switch to water only. If she ends up a bit more couch-locking/sedative that's fine by me as i currently have two fairly uplifting strains in the jar. Smells wonderful!!
Soooo. I'm gonna switch to plain ph'd water any day now. She looks so nice but trichs still not showing any signs of clouding as far as i can tell. So happy with this girl. Has been a breeze to grow and train and has taken any neglect or mismanagement on my part like a champ.
Hurrah for secret santas!!! Snapped up a 10X magnification lens for my phone at work on xmas day. Have started final flush a few days ago. Trichs have begun to cloud up and the odd one turning amber.
Was a real pleasure to grow. Such low maintenance and structure was an ease for a newb to train and trim. Took some abuse in her stride (newb nute missmanagement and a few gaps between waterings when away for weekends). Smell pretty low so good stealth grow but with a bit of curing her cheesy aroma is beginning to come through. Nice amount of frost but not the stickiest. Nice stone that doesn't leave you hungover the next day. Will defs grow again.
