3 Bears OG (Oct 2019, Front)

Hexus Week One - I like 3 Bears OG. The first one I grew was so interesting compared to the other plants that I've been looking forward to growing her again. Two girls this time. She's wrinkly and so is her sister! An uneventful week for her.

Hexus Day Eight - Looks like she's gonna have long, thin leaves, just like the first one I grew. Looking forward to seeing how she turns out! Seems like this strain likes to look a little weird at first. Day 14 - She's wrinkly but flushed and fertile looking!

Hexus Day 15 - I really like 3 Bears for some reason, the whole process of growing them. This girl, up front, is maybe a little smaller than her sister, but is doing well. Day 19 - The girls are now starting to be bent under the net. Let the training begin! Day 21 - She's growing like a 3 Bears! Little slower than the other plants in the grow, with narrower leaves, but healthy and looking good.

Hexus Day 22 - Into the fourth week! She's doing fine and responding to her training well. Slower than the other girls but that seems normal for the strain. Decided to dust cinnamon over her medium to protect against some little black flies I've seen around. Also put up some pest sheets. Day 28 - She looking good! Growing very similarly to the first 3BOG I grew back last December.

Hexus Day 29 - The girl in front isn't growing *quite* as quickly as her sister, but she's thriving and doing well. Looking forward to more 3 Bears Golf Ball Sized buds! Day 35 - Chonk this week. 3 Bears has been the easiest strain to run under the net I think. Narrower leaves and more supple branches. Seems like an idea scrog girl.

Hexus Day 36 - Beginning of week six! She and her twin remain supple and trainable and very easy to deal with. I just plain need more of the seeds because they have found a permanent seat at the table. Day 42 - End of week six! Flowering has begun!

Hexus Day 43 - Into week seven! The entire grow is passed all the smaller bumps in the road at this point, and everyone seems to be fairly robust. All girls are showing off sex and the vast majority are starting to go pom pom on me. Flowering is AWN. Rolling slowly over from Maxigro to Maxibloom at this point, as all the girls started showing (very early) phosphorous deficiencies on the lower fan leaves.

Hexus Day 50 - Hey! We're on week eight! All the girls are doing well. The DWC girls asked for some special care over the last few days and got it. (Just a reservoir refresh) All of the rest and doing just peachy!

Hexus Day 57 - The Beginning of week nine! The girls have gotten a carpet bombing of treatments for a heretofore mild fungus gnat issue. I have ONE soil plant in the grow, and that seemed to have been the instigator of the issue. Mosquito Bits once a week and Neem Oil in their feed will hopefully knock them out fairly hard. The plants haven't shown any sort of signs of impaired growth so I'm pretty sure I've headed it off before any sort of real issue can evolve.

Hexus Week Ten! The grow is going well. The fungus gnats are nowhere to be seen apart from on some yellow sticky sheets, and every girl is flowering up nicely. Aggressive defoliation and dead leaf removal is happening on their underbellies every day now. Things are looking great!

Hexus Day 71 - Into Week Eleven! It looks like this grow is going to go a little longer than the previous two. The combination reason is that I've got the lights a little bit higher in this grow, and the overall temperature in the grow room is averaging fifteen degrees (F) lower than the last grow. It's much easier to keep my grow warm than it is to keep it cool, and the Spring/Summer grows ran upwards of 85f at points, for days at a time. This grow has been sitting at a solid 72f the entire way through. As a result, humidity is better, growth is larger overall, and they're just gonna go a couple weeks longer than the last grow. A fair trade AFAIAC. Both of the 3 Bears girls are freakishly huge and getting fatter by the day. The front girl is a little behind the rear girl, but they are both HUGE.

Hexus Day 78 - The grow is nearing the end! The Gold Glue DWC will be harvested this week, along with anyone else who looks ready. (I think it's just gonna be her, but her Coco sister is on the edge as well.) I really, really love this strain and the way it grows. They're both huge. The rear one is larger, due to the reflected light off the wall, but this girl is girthy as well.

Hexus Day 83 - First cut is done! I didn't take as much off of her as her twin, because she hasn't been getting as much direct light, so her second harvest is probably going to be heftier than her first. This strain is leans toward big and bushy, and she once again had problems holding herself up after being pulled out of the grow. That's okay, because her buds are gigantic and abundant. More here as the harvest progresses. Day 97 - Final numbers and photos are in! Due to lack of space I couldn't keep the two 3 Bears separated during the dry time, so I'm splitting the difference on final weights. It's a nice, round number at 400.09 grams of dry, or 14.11oz between the two plants! Seven ounces per plant is nothing to scoff at so I'm a happy camper!
