Yo to the yo! Time flies, every week seems to go quicker than the last. A bit overdue, but this will be her last vegging days this week. Switching lights soon. Had some older leaf issues, crispy, discolored so lopped them off halfway down the stem. Didn’t seem to cause any issues to date. A little concerned that most of the old growth is now gone, but better than wasting energy trying to keep them in my opinion. I don’t think the gg#4 is easy going with nutrients. Have read that this strain is fussy and to be careful upping the ppm, go slowly.......... aiming for 1300 when flowers start to appear. See how she responds I guess, next week we will get to 1100, go from there. Keep it realz.

Yo yo! Well that changed rather quickly. Grew this girl a little too tall, as lights were maxed out for height. When I got a good look at the top buds, some were heavily coated in amber trichs, and almost started to look spent. All this after thinking I would go another 2 weeks. Was then going to harvest only the top buds, but noticed the small ones lower on plant looked ready, just thin and wispy. In light of my, er, lights.... being too close, figured I would just take it down now and chalk it up to another learning moment. Anxious to try my latest, but don’t think I will be blown away with weights. However, the top buds do sparkle and look pretty good so hoping overall will be good smoke. Will be cautious with sativa’s and how tall they can get. Or flip to flower after a couple of weeks, and hold back on the nitrogen a smidge. Pics and info to come soon when I post the harvest week. Keep it realz out there!
