Seed sprouted on aug 21.
Solo cups with ziplock bag covering the top for now, will transplant into a 3 gal fabric pot when a little bigger.
Put in tent on 20/4 and let it chill for a week.
Germinating another for next week.
Coco perlite 60/40
GH flora series, calimagic, dyna protekt.
Light - Sunraise "1000w" LED burples, 150-160 draw from wall.
Transplanted into 3gal fabric pots (vivosun heavy duty)
Set up my drip irrigation. 20 gal tote, 120 gph submersible water pump, 40w air compresser with 4x 4" air stones, 2 drippers per plant running twice per day. 2 min 2 hrs after lights on; 1 min 2 hrs before lights off.
Nice growth this week, lst from last week resulted in more cola growth. Readjusted lst for even canopy.
Both showing sex, treating as pre flower and starting to transition into bloom nutes with a light feed.
Res is still 3/4 full at around 650 ppm and 5.6 ph. Decided to leave for this week then change next week.
Both shooting out hairs, some of the old leaves are dying off.
Just pulled off dead leaves, or almost dead leaves. Did minor lst adjustments and quick tucking.
Flipped sides; week 8 on right and week 7 on left. Canopy is filling out really nice.
Week 8 - growth slowing down as buds starting to form all over. Crystals starting to develop.
Week 7 - growing out quite nice, actually stretched above the plant a week older.
Cleaned up older leaves from the bottom on the plant, only those that came off with a gentle tug. Did a little tucking to expose bud sites.
Changed out the res, maintaining my 1:2:3 GH floraseries ratio (20ml gro, 40ml micro, 60ml bloom in 20 gal tote). Added 30 ml 30% h2o2.
Week 9 plant - vertical growth slowed down, packing on the buds quite nice. smelling great, quick counted 11 colas
Week 8 plant - stretched quite a bit this past week. hairs everywhere, bud growth is starting to come in. quick counted 12 colas.
Just added water to the res, ph went up a bit so dropped in 1ml of ph down to bring it back to 5.6, around 790-800 ppm.
Did a light defoliation on the bottom of the plants, pulling off weak/dying older fan leaves mostly.
Minor tucking of fan leaves on the top to expose more colas to the light. Adjusted the light to 18" from the tallest cola.
No video this week, error with scheduling. My b :(
Overall great growth, looks like i got 2 phenos. One is more indica short with fatter leaves, the other more ruderalis with taller with thinner leaves.
Leaves looking nice and green on the canopy,
some leaves dying on the lower parts of the plant.
Not concerned at all, pretty much expected.
Week 10 plant fattening up, minimal vertical growth.
Week 9 plant shot up, around 30" now. Buds are starting to form, hairs all over.
Changed out res, going to be the last time i add nutes to ride out the next 2 weeks. Planning to flush for week 13 in prep for the axe.
Buds are still packing on both girls. New pistils still shooting out with no orange hairs showing yet.
Im thinking this is going be be a longer finish, may go to 14/15 weeks if necessary.
Going out of town for work, topped up the res with adding micro and bloom.
Out of town until next week.
From the looks of it they are just ripening. If all goes well there should be a decent amount of orange hairs next update!
Buds fattened up my two weeks away. White hairs still, checked trichs and they're clear.
Lollipopped small budsites. Weened off the feed, went lucas formula with micro and bloom.
Video wont upload, unfortunately.
Was planning to chop her down... but after a few opinions decided to ride it out.
Topped up the resivoir with water at 5.6. Defoliated a few fan leaves and few struggling colas.
Seems like its gonna be a bit longer, still mostly white hairs and no ambers. I reckon there's some fox tailing going on there in the middle, but c'est la vie. Did a little tucking to maximize exposure.
Added lucas (flora micro) and calmag, noticed some discoloring on the leaves.. but i think its natural as they start to finish.
Easy to grow and pretty resilient. Longer flower time than I expected going on 16 weeks, not all in vain. Got a decent 3oz a plant with minimal care. Got 2 different phenotypes.
Was fun to grow and train during veg. Flower took what felt like an eternity but for two plants almost 6 oz is a decent yield. In regards to the amazon sunrise led, there was a lot left to desire when it came to penetration. Could have defoliated the canopy more, but didn't want to stress them too much as they are autos.
Was kind of interesting that I had two different types of pheonotypes, i'd say decent genetics for a lesser unknown seed bank. Thanks for tagging along, cheers!
