Pic from day 3
After all my DNA genetics chocolope seeds failed and sadly due to location cant take them up on their replacement policy ,its refreshing to see this guy pop in 12 hours and seem quite lively
This will be an organic grow 12/12 light ( i live in the tropics )
Most likely it will hit maturity and immediately flower with a low yield which is expected , im looking at mold resistant strains and leaning towards sativa as i think that will work better out here In Central America
Its been really cloudy here with heavy rain daily in the afternoon ( 5" in 3 hours ) I brought the plant indoors to avoid wind and rain and the cat ate half the leaves ... i thought it was a goner but it is doing ok
Cat is on my shit list and we shall continue having nothing to do with each other . Speaking of which she took a crap on the sofa a few days ago as well , so who knows whats going on with her !
Any way as a cautionary measure I dropped a couple more seeds in a jar of boiled water ( Ill be trying out Ed Rosenthals technique , but with some changes , as i question why he would use hydrogen peroxide after soaking seeds for 4 days vs before ... but i digress ....
Not much to say this week soiled stayed wet , so i didnt add any water . I noticed the cat damage is browning and the growth has slowed .As leaf span is as wide as the pot i will transplant to bigger later today
All is well , I transplanted to a 1 gallon pot and gave it a light mist of neem as , i saw what could be the beginning of leaf damage We have been having the last of the heavy rains I will be moving from plastic to cloth pots in the next week or so
Only 5 days since the last measurement , but im trying to keep it to every sunday +2" . I pinched off a bottom leaf that was half yellow and looking bad , there is minor discoloration on another leaf , ( in pics ) which i will monitor . I scoped it and couldn't see any bugs . I had hit it with neem the second i saw it , but for now will just monitor Aside from that the soil is still damp as the air is pretty humid this time of year , so im holding off on adding more water or nutes . suns out everyday rain starts between noon and 3
but its not heavy
Just got some aurora 5 gal root pots and some wheels so my guys can sit on the terrace , also thought about building a nice terrace greenhouse , , but with screen walls (for airflow) and a clear roof ( for rain )
nothing crazy maybe 3x2x4
Im seeing a growth spurt , could be the new pot , or just the time for it
its getting plenty of direct sun , id say sunlight these days is 50/50 I over did the ph up to 11 .5 ( ooops ) in the nute mix and ended up having to add ph down to 6.1 . looking pretty good to me
Devastation!!! My dog stripped all my plants ..... so much damage in 5 mins !!! Im going to run them out and see what happens , but i think im better off starting some new beans Gutted !!
Had to leave indoors for a few days due to a lot of visitors i noticed what looks like damaged leaves yesterday
cant tell if the room was too humid or
its leaf burn , mold or its insects so if you want to comment ive left a couple of detailed pics .Ive returned to veg nutes for the min Its getting a good 12 hours sun and breeze now
OK so
moving house had these guys sent indoors every once in a while then i had a work trip . fed em before i left on the 28th dec and when i returned they had started to flower not much growth but all seems well the pic was just before i fed them so a little hungry looking
Ok Here we go Harvested plant left lower branches .... harvest to follow , but it was crap ... on discussion with a master grower he said it flowered fast and went amber as the dog trauma may have made it think it was an emergency ....I will post what i got dry in a few days.. but it really wasn't much at all .... so experiment time !!
Im going to take the two middle stems and try to clone them with gel and an 18-20 hour cycle ) and keep that main bigger branch on the plant and see if that will reveg .... who knows !!! So 12 hours of real daylight followed by an evening in the shower with light .....
I think you plants can recover. Just give them light - in the evening to keep them vegging.
I have dogs. They chase things and damage my plants from time to time. I keep plants on another upside down pot to raise it out of the dogs path. Never 100%.
@Nick1681, im on pineapple blueberry muffin and equilibrium genetics chem 4 glue at the moment .... i stupidly thought that i could just buy cheaper seeds and get as good results as humboldt seed co
C4G only popped 3 out of 10 seeds and looked like they were sick from the get go
again another dog attack ( i swear sometimes i feel like my grow hobby is really just a dog salad bar ) PBM is awesome and for 12/12 organic outdoor grow gave me what i needed the last time
. i live at around 9 degrees latitude so ive been looking at getting seeds from countries that share the same lattitude
... the next bean i pop will be bigfoot glue again as it was pretty trouble free very piney taste !!
@Autocraticweapon23, Did you ever try again with this strain? I"m curious did it turn out? I've done 2 other strains from Humbolt an they turned out GREAT. Blueberry Muffin an GSC both were super tasty an strong, considering I'm just learning the results were damn good.
