Received some seeds to test from a breeder. After soak and sitting in paper towel for 24 hours...they are now in the dirt and waiting for them to show.
Added a tiny bit of Liquid Karma and Mykos to each solo cup.
Plants are looking good. A couple that shot up fast and a couple slow starters. Had about 90% germination rate from these testers from Black Pack Seeds.
Might water a little more Floralicious + in again this week. Then start with a light dose of MegaCrop next week and get them out from under the CFLs and put them under an LED
Plants are looking good. Couple are huge...a few are medium and a couple are smaller.
Re-potted into 1/2 gallon pots at the end of the week and will start on MegaCrop from here on out.
Also moved from my mini greenhouse into a veg room with a 300w cob light at about 3 ft from canopy.
Transplanted to .5 gallon pots and started feeding with MegaCrop. A couple of the plants were getting pretty tall. Topped all to the 3rd node and now they're all about the same height.
Gave them a good feeding this week. I noticed some fan leaves were twisting over so the bottom side was getting the light. Figured maybe the light was too close/intense so I raised it up about 6-8 inches.
Other than that...they are recovering well from the topping. I went from six nodes down to the third node.
This week I just let them recover more from the topping and they are doing great. Another week and I'll be transplanting to bigger pots and moving into a tent. I was hoping to do some sexing while they were in veg but they're not showing anything yet...so I might have to wait until flower.
**Added a space heater in the beginning of week 6 because the plants didn't seem to be filling out as much as I'd like. By the end of week 6 they have bushed out a lot.
Transplanted this week. I was trying to stress them a bit by keeping them in small pots....hoping they'd show sex but nothing yet. Finally had to up-pot because they're getting big enough that if I don't switch to flower soon...they might not fit in the tent after stretch.
Moved plants into flower tent and changed light schedule to 12/12. I'll still be using 6500K cobs only to reduce stretch for the first week. Hoping they'll show sex soon so I can pull the males and free up some space for the ladies.
Everything is doing great. Did some lollipopping at about day 11 of flower. At about day 8 I had to do some supercropping to a few branches to lower them down to the rest of the canopy. Pulled the last male out at Day 8 also. So I ended up with 4/7 as females.
Getting pretty thick in my tent. Everything is nice and green. Now yellowing yet which is nice because usually I'm running into that by week 4 in my previous grows. I upped my feed amounts so maybe that's helped with that problem.
They smell great. Not overpowering yet. And they are getting really sticky already.
Put the girls into the new 4x8 flower tent today. Need to get lights for the other half of the tent but these plants are in one half of the tent sitting under Aglex 2000 and Aglex 1200 (total 630 true watts)
They're starting to stack and bulk up a bit and getting a nice sweet stink to them.
Another easy week with no issues showing themselves.
Little bit of yellowing on one plant. Other than that everything is growing well and looking like maybe two weeks til harvest.
Lifted the lights a bit too because a couple tips got some light burn.
Everything is starting to get closer to the finish line. One plant is yellowing faster than the others even though it was fed the same. Not sure what's up with that. But it's still looking good and fattening up a bit.
Probably give them one or two more feedings and flush with water for the last week.
Finishing up. Dropped the last couple feedings to 800...then 400. Moving to straight water for the last week.
Also moved them into another tent to finish under a 315 CMH to see if the added uv will make it frost up a little more.
