Keeper testing

This is the start of my grow diary for a perpetual flower environment in which I test my own strains. First week of flower of some certified dank. Wish them luck They are in good health

This week I defoliated slightly for better air circulation and improved light penetration, mainly removing leaves blocking budsites that had purple petioles. They seemed to respond good. Also foliar sprayed with light potash solution, upped pk with guano and provided micros with seaweed extract. Feed EOD and water with silica in between feeds. RH now around 50-50% most of time. Improving air circulation is now top priority on to-do list

Mild N possibly cal/mag deficiency. Corrective measures taken. Adjusted nutrient formula, supplemented micro elements with kelp and re inoculated media with beneficial bacteria and fungi. Hope week 4 gets better. Also performed defoliation to improve air circulation and light penetration to lower bud sites.

Some plants seem to be turning colors early. Pretty fast flowering varieties so not concerned. Covered in trichomes. It’s beginning to smell super fruity.

Plants continuing to mature fast. Buds getting denser and pistils keep growing out of the buds. Will try to push this as far as 20 days more. Acidification of soil seems to be the culprit in early yellowing. Added gypsum and watering with microbial rich aerated compost tea. Hope they continue bulking up nicely and developing nice aromas.

Plants developing nicely, cloudy trichomes everywhere. Stopped feeding N, boosting PK with liquid guano formula. Add the usual supercharged compost tea and micronutrients. Will let the plants ripen until end of month and add molasses until chop. Taking taster samples to evaluate potency, taste and ease my pain. Will report in a couple of days.
