Week 10: Wrapped up the 3rd full week of flowering and for the most part, it was a pretty easy going week. Other than getting their normal feeding schedule and doing some minor tent maintenance, the girls didn't require very much attention. There is still consistent stretch happening for 3 out of the 4 plants. Bottom left plant is still not stretching at all. It is packing on flower but there's been basically zero vertical growth in the branches since flipping. I am going to raise her up a few inches to keep the canopy as even as possible with the other plants. The feeding regimen I'm using at the moment is for early flower stage. This coming week I'll start the transition to using the mid flower regimen. I also incorporated Mammoth P and Soil Balance Pro into my tea days. My new tea recipe consists of 5 gallons of PH'd water with the suggested amounts of Mammoth P and Soil Balance Pro. I then add a helping of Aphrodite's Extraction for it's glucose/carbon and bubble Brew it for 24 hours. Still don't have enough experience with these microbes yet but both companies make some pretty bold claims. We'll see as time moves on whether or not they are as effective as they claim. Lastly, since I've left the plants to grow how they wanted to these past few weeks, the canopy I had worked so hard to create has started getting out of control again. In the upcoming weeks I'll start using the 2nd scrog net I had installed and hopefully get the canopy nice and even again.

Grow Questions

Need input on the growth so far. My node/internode spacing is very tight which has resulted in short and bushy/dense plants. I understand there are several contributing factors to this but how does it impact yield? What to do if my spacing too tight? Should I even be concerned?

obviously you have a good light thats why you have a tight internode space.. tou can try to rise the light if you want them to stretch a bit more, but you’re fine.. i would definitely clean this girl up.. you can for sure remove all the smaller branches that are in shade in the lower parts of the plant.. divide your plant visually in 3 , and remove everything thing in the first 1/3 of the plant.. hope it helps ;)

While watering this week I noticed a fair amount of roots surfacing in all of my plants (pic in week 6 of veg). Is this is a result of healthy rooting or signs of an issue? Leave exposed or cover em up? Inclined to leave as is for oxygen.

I'd cover them up you have fabric pots and if your soil is good you should already should have plenty of aeration. In the past when Iv'e grown in dirt , I like to put a layer of gravel or rocks on the bottoms and tops of the containers. Marbles whatever works but covering up the loose soil with a more solid heavy material is not a bad idea. Keep in mind soil and moisture can be breeding grounds for bacteria and other nasties so I tend to learn towards the idea of covering the medium up whether I'm growing hydro or in dirt. Just some food for thought or one growers opinion but I hope this helps. Your grow is looking great I wish you a bountiful harvest.

Nice canopy their I would do a little selective cutting for air flow n let it rock on

Thanks @Weezy1085654. I ended up doing just that. Seem to be bouncing back just fine.

Really interesting grow. Everyone looks really healthy and happy. You're lucky the 4 plants are roughly the same size. Doing netting like that is a pain when all the plants are different. Did you continue to weave the bud stalks through the netting while she was stretching, or did you stop after you flipped the tent?

Thanks for checking out my grow @Quexos. All through Veg they were all right around the same size. I think a lot of that had to do with the scrog net. I wanted as close to a full canopy as possible when going into flower so any stretch was converted to width by weaving through the net. As soon as I flipped I just let them go free. 3 of them are stretching about the same while 1 has barely stretched at all. I'm going to have to lift it up to be level with the others but that's easier said then done now that they are basically fused with the net.

I used to be mad at the sun too. Now I grow weed all through the year.

@@Ssomeguy, right on. I plan on doing the same thing. Still mad at the sun though.
