x3 Royal AK-47 autoflowering.
The first week is going well, are growing fast and strong 😁
Let me know what do you think 😄 🌱
-------------
Seems that I have a problem with fungus gnat, or at least seems like that.
The problem is that they don't stick to the yellow traps and I even left some potato slices to see if attracts the larvae, but nothing, so I'm starting to think that the small flying bugs are just some type of fliers, my concern is that they come out from the soil.
For the moment I'm watering with 3% peroxide hydrogen to avoid an infestation, I don't understand what are these bugs, anyone has any idea? 🤔
Week 2 starts great because I've finally found a way to get rid of the fungus gnat.
I mixed 7ml of H20H (3%) with 3 teaspoon of powder garlic in 1l of water (6.8ph) and watered all of my 3 plants with ~0.35ml of this mix, after that sparkled the top soil with black pepper.
After 1 hour no more flying fungus gnat.
I've also started to use nutrients (0.6ml per plant)
Brand name: Agro
NPK: 3,6 - 2,3 - 2,7
I hope to see these little girls grow stronger day by day 😁🌱
---------
Day 11:
I think that my plants aren't doing well, slow growth, maybe because I've only a 100W full spectrum LED? 🙄
Day 13:
I've started to see that the edges of the leaves are curling up a little bit, so I rised the light from 25cm to 35cm.
Also gived 1L of water per plant (after 5 days without water) with ~7.5ml of veg nutes, hoping this will make them to feel better...
Day 14:
Good news, the nutes helped a little bit 😁
The third week starts with some new growth (finally! 😆).
But I've also noticed a few things:
The edges of the leaves are a little bit curled up and white, so I've rised the light from 25cm to 47cm to see if that's the problem.
------
Day 16:
More growth but I'm concerned about the edges of the leaves curling up and some little white spots, looks like light burn, but I'm using only a 100W LED and was always at ~25cm distance until now, now is at ~50cm distance.
I hope that's the problem and to fix it by rising the light 🤔
Day 21:
They have grown much more compared to the last week, but they are still really small...
I'll keep up the journey until harvest, but I think will be a really crap... 😕
Week 4 starts with LST, even if they are developing just now their 4th node I don't want them to grow too high.
I'll keep up with the LST in order to allow the light to reach all the nodes.
They seems to be healthy (and the stem is thickening) even if the growth is a little bit slower 😁
------
Day 23:
I think that my plants have a cal-mag deficiency.
The next watering I'll use some homemade cal-mag.
Day 26:
They are growing really fast now, with wider leaves and started to develop the internode leaves as well :D
Watered them with ~0.3L of water + 7.5ml of nutes and 3ml of some homemade Cal-Mag (egg shell and epsom salt)
Day 27 - Morning
I decided to FIM my plants, they have 4 full nodes and FIMed the 5th node.
They seems to be healthy so I hope I didn't made more damage than good 🤞
Day 28
They responded well to FIM, still growing fast 😁
Week 5 starts with recover from the previous FIMing.
I'm surprised 😍
------
Day 30:
Found a better way to LST, the branches are growing much faster now :D
Day 34:
Sex clearly visible 😁 (female)
Week 6 started with more growth and more LST 😁
🌱👍🏻
------
Day 38
Amazing how beautiful they are, and until now I'm really satisfied with my first grow 😁🍀🌱
Untied the plants, no more LST, I'll let them grow freely.
Everything seems to be alright, except for my hype and patience, I can't resist anymore ahah
🌱🍀
Week 10 started, I'm a little bit worried about the leaves which are turning yellow, is this normally because the plants are approaching their final weeks or could be something else?
I'm also wondering when to start to flush, any idea? 😁 🌱🍁🍂
What's happening with the leaves? 🍁🍁
The bottom leaves are drying out and dying, but the bud's leaves are slowly turning yellow.
Is this a sign that I'm close to harvest or something bad?
Thank you all 😁
Looks like pretty bad nutrient burn to me. You don't have any nutrients listed so it's hard to say without knowing what they are getting. I would give them just straight water for at least a week, maybe 2 and see if that helps out. You'll want to flush about 2 weeks before you harvest which I would estimate is a good month away.
Start of week 11 and I wonder how much is left until harvest.
I checked the trichomes and seems to be clear (but I don't have a good magnifier, so is a bit hard to recognize the difference 😑).
What do you think? 🌱🌿❄️🍁
----
Today (28/12) I took some popcorn buds, dried in the oven (I know 😅) and smoked in a nice spliff.
The smell in the grinder was something like chlorophyll and no taste, gived me a really light buzz (more Sativa dominant) which lasted really short (maybe an hour).
I'm thinking to harvest at the end of next week, what do you think? 🤔

I harvested early (maybe 2 or 3 weeks early!) because I ran out and I'll start soon a new growth with 1 Royal Queen, 1 Royal Kush and 1 White Widow (photosynthesis strain).
I learnt a lot and the next time I'll use 11.8L pots and if I can afford a better LED light (300w or 600w).
Because mostly of my buds were fluffy, the drying process lasted ~55h (~21°C / 35-40% rH) and now I have started curing.
Such a low quantity ~17g will not last me even 10 days, but the stuff is good, the taste and the smell are like sh*t but does the job. 😂
@Master_weeda
Thanks for the tips.
I've already done a lot of research but I don't think that these bugs are fungus gnat.
I'll try also with Diatomaceous Earth.
Below you can see a pic (done by me) of the flying bug (looks like fungus gnat):

@xs8,I have no idea about the type of insects involved but you should spray your plants with a teaspoon of soft black soap diluted in a liter of warm water with a drop of neem oil c the best insecticide natural👍
Once a week until flowering🌱
I invite you to learn about Google while waiting for the force to be with you💪
@xs8,
I would think so. You should harvest based on the color of the trichomes. You'll want to cut them down when the trichromes are at least 80% cloudy. Right now they are clear, but they will turn cloudy, then amber colored. Cutting at mostly cloudy ensures you get the highest THC content that you can.
Better to harvest 2 weeks late rather than 1 week early. 👽
@xs8,Yep!😀

@Whitoutduty,
Ahah, I searched a lot on Google to see how a FIMmed plant looks after fully recover, but I didn't find anything.
Do you have any photo where I can see how a successful FIM should look like? 😂
Looking back at your previous weeks, it it seems that you may have been giving them too much nutrients. The plants may not have been taking them all up at that point, but now that they are into the flowering stretch they are likely soaking up the unused nutrients in the soil; leading to the burn.
@Dubb79,
I gived more nutrients because the NPK ratio was too small, but maybe you are right about the unused nutrients, I'll try with a flush, thanks! 😁
You could also clip another bud or two, let them air dry (no oven), and test smoke again. If the taste and buzz are satisfactory for you, then hey, that's all that matters isn't it. 👽
@Dubb79,
I couldn't resist so I took more small buds and dried in the oven again, but this time got me pretty high... The only problem is that is more like a sativa high and I love the couch knockout effect.
I'll wait more in order to let more trichomes to turn amber 😁
@Dubb79,
Thanks :D
Is not really a method, just a better way to tie down them.
Now I'm using clothes-pin to fix the garden string (before I was just pushing the string through the soil) so it's more stable and the stem can't anymore unfix the gardening string 😂
My non-expert opinion is that they are not suffering from light burn. In my experience it is nearly impossible to burn them with a 100W LED. The curling of the leaves is likely from over-watering. Browning of perlite can also be a sign of too much water. Don't give up! They look fine and will take off soon!! 👽
@Dubb79,
Thank you 😁
I've started to water them with only ~0.35L water per pot instead of 1L and now the soil is drying much quicker and they look more healthy 😍
Good luck! I'm also growing same strain, my first grow ever :D , you can check my diary for reference on progress if you want, im adding as much description on progress as possible
Patience. You must be very patient at this point. Clipping a bud or two to test was not a bad idea just to test it out. But they are not ready yet. You will be able to tell when the trichomes turn amber by comparing them to the pics you posted this week. This is the point in the grow where most growers (especially newer growers) make the mistake of cutting too early. If you want your efforts to pay off, trust me, wait longer. It will be worth it. 👽
@Xs8 Dude stop too feeding you're plants and saturating the top few inches of soil, it's over watering for one specially if youre getting gnats and the best way yoo water is bottom feed. they take what they want as they want, dont let plants sit in water for more than 12 hours , thiers a real possibility of rotting roots this way, Lots of perlite like you have is great but you just need too hold back on the water! Do you plan on putting them in a bigger pot? Mine are in 14L
@xs8, Yes, the soil will work like a wick and will soak the water up, u also want those roots too be searching as far down as they can for Easter as this will make you're plant super strong!
@Bashgrowsitall1989
Alright, I understand, but leaving the water into the bottom tray isn't dangerous?
Now the seedlings are little, so are the root, how can the root get access to the bottom water?
