I Popped the seeds straight into the soil . Lightly misted and put in a warm cupboard to germinate. After 24 hrs pineapple chunk had popped above the soil surface. After 48 hrs strawberry lemonade had also popped above the surface. At 72 hrs all three have sprouted :-) but the pineapple chunk seems to have no leaves only cotyledons despite being the first to pop . It's also my first time using LED quantum boards: 3500k with 660nm and switchable IR and UV so anyone with any advice please feel free to advise . I don't have a par meter so I'm using a free lux meter app on my phone to tune the light . At the moment the light is putting out 5000 lux .

Broke my phone so haven't been able to update but all good now. The soil is peat moss based with added hardwood and banana skin ash to bring the pH up to 6 and bunny buttons mixed in (first time trying rabbit poops) I've also added seaweed . To be sure I don't under feed I've decided to use biobizz , grow , bloom, and top max. I've been keeping the soil damp but not soaked with no run off . The light is at 15000 lux.

There as big as they can be for my space so I'm switching to 12/12 Ive also switched the IR on as it's supposed to speed up the flowering transition. It's a new light to me at the moment from geeklight it's 3000k 320w v4 lm301H with added 660nm switchable IR and UV. I've got it 40cm from the plants and have been using a lux meter app on my phone. (don't have par meter) I read online that 50000 max in veg and 65000 to70000 max in veg is about right but I'm just turning it up as I go. The plants are very compact compared to HPS. My light spread over 120x60cm is really good in comparison to a 440w HPS. If anyone has experience with quantum boards I'm open to advice?

Started adding bloom and topmax this week and used the IR switch on the light for 7 days (manufacturer says to start when switching to 12/12 and to stop when pistils start forming) There were no pre sex pistils showing when I switched to 12/12 so maybe it has brought flowering on quicker 🤔 I've taken more fan leaves to let light in. The plants are very compact and don't seem to have stretched like they do with hps but there growing well.

I switched the IR off a week ago after the first pistils showed. Since switching it off the stretch has slowed down a bit 🤔 I've been feeding at every watering. I've also got fungus gnats so Im currently Trying to kill them off with sticky taps and spraying the top of the soil with essential oil ( teatree and peppermint) ill increase bloom feed by 1ml starting next week

Used hydrogen peroxide watered down to 1% to spray the top layer of soil as I had fungus gnats multiplying at a fair old rate. Since then the pH went up to 7 so I'm watering at pH 5.8 until the runoff returns to 6.2.

I underestimated there food needs but am feeding more now, its also possible that my lights are too close as its the first time using led lights 🤔? The plants are mainly all short apart from a danceworld and a kmi-S1 that seems taller than they normally are (there are 3 going two are short and one is twice there height) onto week 5 Happy New year 😎

Stopped feeding most of them, fungus gnats are still persisting 😭. Some are finished almost so I've chopped one of the pineapple chunks down so I've got some to try from week 7,8 and maybe 9. The strawberry lemonade has finished along with the acupolco gold so I'm Flushing it now, I wasn't expecting such an early finish.

Nice taste nice high, for me it's day time use, it's nice and smooth with a fruity smell and a taste similar to kalimist indica pheno (the taste you get at the back of your throat when you use autoglym car polish) It's one of those strains that taste different to how you expect from the smell!)

I grew 15 plants all in 4 litre pots. All averaged 30g the 3 pineapple chunk was 36g heaviest 33g and 29g was the lightest (taken a week earlier) All the plants were invaded by fungus gnats and suffered as a result 😢 but I can't complain as they all came through. 3 kalimist indica pheno are still going as they took longer to start flowering for some reason. After adding all the buds together it was slightly shy of 1g per watt. Not bad for first time using led lights. Hopefully I'll get passed 1.2g per watt which is my personal best done using 400watt hps and 12week flowering kalimist x4 regular not feminised (feminised version is never the real kalimist) Anyway after a long cure strawberry lemonade is way better and improved on taste. Pineapple chunk is crazy tastey and thickest vapor. Acapulco gold is real nice but gets your heart racing if you over do it 😳 Barney's farm have to have some of the best genetics out there. I look forward to running there seeds again soon. Next run I'm going with my own seeds again and may even try to add some banana sativa from Holly smokes into the mix (that stuff is crazy good for daytime use) Stay safe and for now stay home ❤️

Very nice tropical pineapple taste, really dense vapor from the volcano and lasts longer to. All 3 plants were almost the exact same size. I love this strain, good afternoon/evening bud, also good for pain relief from crohns disease symptoms.

Hahahaha! I thought the bananas were a naked ladies legs! Lol! 😅. That on purpose or am I sick in the head, haha. Congrats on the harvest. I see it wasn't exactly what you were going for with those sons a B's gnats. I hate them and I hope you don't have the same problem next go 👌. Mrs_Larimar had a great neem oil concoction if you run into this problem again👍.

@LittleBigTrees, I've heard that a couple times now, that neem changes the taste of the bud regardless of whether or not you spray just the foliage... I have all the product but if a pest problem comes up, I may go for H2o2 wash too... I trust neem works well, but I don't want any terpene interference, for sure. This round I used a crap tonne of sticky traps and circulation to mitigate them, so hopefully it won't ever come to having to use neem or h2o2. Fingers crossed.👍 As for the picture, thanks for calling me vigilant not perverted, lol! I'll take it. Good luck on the next run! Keep banana-ing for scale! haha. And good luck with those damned gnats. Insufferable buggers. Cheers!

@JinksyGrows, 😂 no it wasn't on purpose I was taking a bud for testing and put it in the fruit bowl while I made tea, so I figured I'd take a picture while it was there. Don't worry your not sick in the head just vigilant😉 Remember soft secrets readers wife's? I used to use neem oil but stopped as it changed the taste of my buds. I used hydrogen peroxide watered down to 1% as a drench and it seemed to work but then they just invaded like crazy!

Beautiful frosty buds - I love this strain ... specially at harvest time I got the full strawberry scents. Enjoy and congrats :)

@HazeyBobby, after a cure it had more fruity notes, lol after changing the bag on my volcano it was a lot more fruity, amazing high almost like up you get with a thc-v heavy strain. Maybe it's got some thc-v in there 🤔. Your grow looks amazing, keep up the awesome work 😎
