This is a cutting from a Barneys Farm strain called Red Diesel , the mother plant is a friends and has produced many clones that produce both a
high yield and quality end product. I took the cutting home and immediately trimmed and treated with a rooting agent before transferring it into
weak superthrive presoaked eazy plug inside a humidity propagating dome . It took aprox 7 days of twice daily misting with water before the roots
came thru the bottom of the plug I then sprayed it to runoff with my premade STS solution , before placing straight into a 12 hour dark period.
Two weeks after a strict daily 12/12 period of Light vs Dark I noticed the 1st sign of male pollen sack development. so success so far but not
complete until I have pollen to use on another of the Same mother plants cuttings I'll grow out to flower at a later date and create seeds of my Own.
The Male flowers are developing nicely & I only had to treat this clone the one time with the sodium thiosulfate solution rather than the tiresome
daily spraying that is needed when using colloidal silver.
No pollen yet some of the flowers opened but were empty hopefully it will produce some before too much longer
still religuously giving 12 hours of darkness.
Still no pollen but the sacs are really swelling up now so maybe soon....................... Lets hope so , The cutting itself is still very healthy so no problems on that front.
Well I cut and dried the red diesel clone 4 days ago Yesterday I broke up the dried flower clusters and removed a small amount of pollen which was then
collected with a small artists paint brush and gently applied to two flowering auto strains from Fastbuds These were Gelato and Girl scout cookies.
Hopefully in about 6 weeks time I'll have some seeds to use. Thankyou to all who followed or liked this Diary.
