Germinated 3 Northern Lights Photo seeds from 00 Seedbank using a combination of the cup of water and paper towel methods. Each seed produced a tap root within 36 hours and all three were planted in vented solo cups using Promix premium potting mix as medium. I kept the medium moist with a spray bottle filled with (Brita) filtered tap water and sprayed the sides of my 2x2x4" grow tent to increase humidity. Within 10 days I had roots pushing through the drainage holes of the cups. All 3 were transplanted into the 3 gallon pots they'll finish in. All three weathered transplant extremely well and 24 hours after replanting each plant shows significant new growth. I couldn't be happier with the early stages of this grow.

At 19 days from planting all plants are growing rapidly, are a rich green (save for some of the smaller underside leaves on one) and are maturing nicely. Once the third node matured and each plant had three sets of fan leaves I topped them as advised by this article from GrowWeedEasy.com ( https://www.growweedeasy.com/topping-fiming ) I haven't begun LST yet, for the simple reason that it scares me. LOL. This being my first real attempt, I'm still a bit gun shy and have some more study to do before I'm comfortable with that. Still watering with plain tap water run through a Brita water filter, so far it seems as though the soil is providing enough sustenance to make liquid nutes unnecessary. Humidity was high in the tent this week, due to the fact that I misremembered where it should be and was keeping it too high. Adjusting my fan system to compensate corrected the issue and humidity is now at 50%. All in all things are going very well so far.

29 days out from planting all three are healthy and thriving despite an issue with low temperature and humidity inside the tent that caused some browning to a few fan leaves. Once the temp and humidity climbed back up the issues resolved themselves and the plants continue to grow impressively (at least to me, though my impressions are based on nothing as this is my first grow) All three plants have been topped and all three have a host of new growth and node sites. I had considered bending but honestly I'm not entirely comfortable with the concept at this point and I'd regret doing anything to mess up what I feel is a pretty decent grow at this stage. I'm only using a 2x2x4 tent for this grow and right now there are only about 20 inches between my plants and the light. All the reading suggests they'll double in size in flower, so it looks as though I'll be forced to start them within a week, and even then I may have to bend them just to avoid them touching the lights.

The first week of flower is here! The plants are approaching nine inches tall and with the limited space in my little 2x2x4 tent I didn't have a lot of choice. I've only got 20 inches between the light and the plants now, before the stretch, so I bit the bullet and bent them. No breaks, no obvious stress. It doesn't seem like I hurt their feelings. Phew! My humidity and temp have been higher than all the reading suggests, either that or too cold and too dry when I use my exhaust for any length of time (even on it's lowest speed) Yet despite the issues the plants seem to be thriving. though in the future I don't think I'll do 3 in this little tent, they're crowded.

Things are still progressing well. The three plants have continued to thrive since introduction of flower, more and more new growth every day. LST continues on all three as limbs reach above the canopy. No breakage or obvious signs of stress. All three are being watered with pure filtered water every other day. No nutrients since the end of veg but I plan to start them on GH FloraNova Bloom next week

These pics are 49 days from seed, two weeks of flower down and the bud sights are actually starting to look like...well buds! Things are cramped in my tiny tent but the plants seem to be thriving, especially once I worked out the ventilation and timing on my exhaust to keep the temp and humidity more tightly controlled. I did what I think will be the last round of bending this week just to try and keep the growth manageable in the limited area I have. I think Next time I'll SCROG for sure, if nothing else it'll make it easier to coordinate the bending between plants to make for a bit more cohesive of a canopy than I've managed this time around. I started using a minimal solution of nutrients during watering and haven't seen any indications of stress whatsoever. All in all I'd say things are looking pretty positive.
