Since I originally started with two seeds and the other didn’t take I had planted a new one and it’s just now coming up. It is also GDP and I will be raising it alongside the other and recording it on the same journal. It will however still be about 1-2 weeks behind the other. The first one will just have to have 2 weeks extra Veg. Plant A has continued its steady growth and is working on it’s 3rd node. After it’s more devolved I’ll remove the beginning of the 4th node and it’s seed/sapling leaves. Plant B like I said just sprouted up with some slightly yellow seed leaves but I’m sure it’s got potential.

I guess my only question right now is why does my plant have a set of 1, 3, 5 and 4??? They devoloped on the third node up after the set of three fingered leaves and before the five. I’ll include a photo is it normal or is it weird?

Cannabis may have foliar mutations. Some of these mutations are initiated by breeders to better camouflage the plant and make it less identifiable as marijuana. Other times, mutations are a minor flaw inherent in some varieties. Apart from the dull-looking sets of leaves that appear on young plants, leaf mutations with the same number of pairs of leaflets and hideous deformities are very rare. Excessive mutations are indicative of poor genetics and poor breeding practices. May the force be with you 💪

@BrensBuds,i have meant, its good that it is a photoperiod, you can keep her as long as you want to in vegetation. And you can use your hps for vegetation too... and i would give her " big light" more light asap.. and let her grow . Its no mistake to go with an led because of your electiric bill. USE THE HID... until your led reaches you

@Mrs_Larimar, also follow up question if I may. What did you mean by it’s a photoperiod? And how long would you suggest I have to get a better light until I face serious stretching and drag in growth?

@Mrs_Larimar, first sorry for the long reply. And also thank you for your advice it is always welcome and this is my first grow so please feel free to follow and weigh in again later. I’ve got this 1000w hps dimlux brand new from a business partner. Problem is it’s mainly only a flowering light. I was waiting for it to sell to buy a 1000w famurs full spectrum LED. But maybe I should buy it now and sell the other when I can. Also I read this a little late and topped the newest node and the one below it. And only removed the seed leaves kept everything else.

Thank you everyone for you advice and like I said always welcome. I’ve added a photo of the light I’m waiting to order so I’ve got one picked out and it’s affordable but you guys know how it is. I might’ve jumped into this grow expecting the other light (or my other over sized equipment) to sell quick enough. I’m just gonna have to make up the money and invest a little in the light and sell the other stuff when I can.

Hey there! Don't bury the stalk. You want your roots to have as much space as possible. Naturally roots want to grow down and out. They can grow upward a bit but not as much as you'd need. Does your current environment have height restrictions? You certainly have some stretch going on but nothing crazy. Geneticss are a big factor in height with sativa being taller and indica being shorter. True GDP should be mostly indica. I'd say your light is likely the issue. Plants stretch when trying to get more light. What type/wattage is it? How far away is it from the top of your plant? I would start by moving the light closer to the top of your plant. Depending on wattage you will probably want to upgrade to something more powerful. Look into and start LST (low stress training) right away. This along with other techniques like topping, Scrog and super cropping will help you convert height to width. Expect a bit longer Veg but a better yeild. Hope this helps and keep up the good work!
