Germinated straight into the pot using the top half of a propagator to start the seed. Using Canna Terra Pro soil and Biobizz Nutes. The seedling is pretty much established after a bit of a rocky start. I went a bit mad on the fungus gnats and started turning over the soil - fortunately the seed has bounced back and is on track, and i've put up fly traps for the gnats and have got a mixture of water and washing liquid on hand to take care of any others. I will mark this as day 1, it should be ready to harvest in 8/9 weeks, so 19-26th December, and apart from curing and drying just in time for Christmas, I plan begin flushing around the 12th of December.

Grow Questions

The young seedling leaves seem to have some sort of bruising. The young fan leaves are fine though, is this something to be concerned about or is it quite normal?

@seasiderambler99 those leaves are referred to as the cotyledon leaves and are unimportant now that the plant is up and growing., Usually they will naturally die off as the plant develops. may I offer some advice regarding your pictures, If you can upload pictures without the blurple led lights on the plant other growers will be able to see the leaves in a natural way as the lights give them a purple hue that makes it very difficult to notice any problems. It is a good idea to reguarly examine your plants without the lights on so that you can quickly notice and remedy any potential problems as they occur.

2/11/19 20:43 growing steadily, looking good - though i gotta admit an accident occurred where i switched on my desk fan to provide some air circulation and left it on a shelf next to the plant - when I need checked it the fan had fallen right on top of the plant. Suffice to say I was pretty horrified, though when I lifted up the fan she was basically a okay, if a bit wonky. after a day under the light she’s looking strong and handsome with a distinctive kink in her stalk, nice. Hope it hasn’t stunted her much but we’ll see. I’m watering steadily every other day with a splash of biobizz biogrow.

significant boost in growth, currently at 22cm and growing visibly each day, seemed a shame to top her, so, just been left to her devices and has been going well already showing pistils begun some lst using sticks in the soil, also got some neem oil to finally finish the gnats and it’s worked a treat

Experimented with some lst at the beginning of the week to try and make the most of the space and encourage growth. I’m not sure it has worked but it’s been good to see how it works anyway, I will do better with it next time. Either way she seems happy and strong. I also lined the space with foil which should help light reach the lower parts of the plant.

She won’t stop growing! I wish I topped her when I had the chance, really wasn’t expecting her to get so tall so it’s difficult to get the lamp far enough but it doesn’t seem to be bothering her much, we will see. Anyway she’s well in flower, lots of bud sites so hoping for a good yield! Started adding flowering nutes at the end of last week. Looking great and already going purple. Also defoliated but and made some tea out of the leaves.

Has to rebuild the grow cupboard last week due to the light needing to be higher, she got a bit burnt but all seems alright now, just now clipped off some of the damage and given a little more water. She’s really gone into full bloom, which is an amazing experience as a first time grower, and all the characteristics I was looking for in this strain are really showing now. Amazing colours and a sweet and bright smell radiates off her. Brings me a fresh smile every day and a reason to get out of bed. Though, I am really unsure now when I should think about harvesting.. any advice here would be appreciated
