1. BS was topped, defoliated and tied down like a sail in a windstorm.
2. She was topped at the 5th node. I also removed node 1. I plan on creating a Compass Rose pattern. Nodes 2-3 are the Cardinal Directions. Nodes 4-5 are the Intermediate Directions.
3. I won't LST the topped buds until I start to weave them through the SCRoG netting.
4. I finally removed the fan leaves for nodes 3-5. This will allow more light penetration for some of the interior bud sites.
5. I'll continue LST on nodes 1-5 until they are as close to the edges of the container as possible. Once that happens, I'll flip to flower and weave the stretch through the netting.
6. Feeding strength increased to 6ml/g. I will increase to 7ml/g next feeding cycle and top out at 8ml/g for the remainder of veg and through stretch.
@Quexos, I'm sure your efforts will be rewarded! Everyone could tell this just by looking at the canopy, the quantity of branches and also the thickness of many of them!
Will follow the harvest to check final results π
Good luck!π
@CRK00, Thanks! This is the first time I've done a full on SCroG grow. I've done topping, LST, and mainlining, but this time I put them all together. I'm really looking forward to harvest in a few weeks.
Bro... congrats for the amazing harvest.
Let me ask you... did you really used that amount of each nute in solution for every week? Seems you used the very same amount of each or was a misinterpretation of mine?
(I was having many many problems with magnifical.)
@Ashtar, I saw your diary. The last entry was a long time ago though. I hope your current grow is doing better. I found that most tap water will work fine for growing. I have a 2-stage filter built into my faucet, but I don't do anything other than that. Try to keep your feedings simple. There are numerous 2-part and 3-part nutrient lines out there that will do a great job. Pick one. Start out at 25% strength and go from there.
@Quexos, thanks for answer mate! Actually I've tried Remo, GHE (flora series, floranova, maxi series)... I suffered a lot months ago because of a R.O. filter I bought... now only using tap water and everything is fine. Too difficult to adjust properly R.O. water + Calimagic (at least was to me). At this cycle I'm trying floranova grow & bloom to see what is better
@Ashtar, Thanks! I watered every other day for 90% of the flowering Period. I did 3 watering/feedings at 4ml/2l. I kicked it up to 5ml/2l for the remainder of feeding. I changed her watering schedule when it was time to stop using nutes. I fed her 2l Filtered Water every 3rd day for 2 weeks. I stopped using MagniCal about 5-6 weeks during flower. In my autos I use MagniCal once every 3rd feeding. I use Advanced Nutrients on my Autos though. Are you using Remo Nutrients?
@MomnPoppaSeed, Thanks.
There ARE a goodly number of main colas. π I need to perfect this method. This will be my best harvest yet out of the photo tent.
Looking nice!
I planted a black sugar seed but unfortunately she germinated then just didn't grow. Was really keen on growing one.
Good luck with harvest!
@MagicMan, Thanks! Sorry about your sprout. I've had really good luck with Seedsman strains. I'm learning that the seedling stage can be really tricky depending on the medium you use. I've had some difficulties in my auto tent watering and feeding my sprouts since I switched to HP Promix medium.
Looking good! Nice and healthy. Ran this strain last grow and super happy with it. Definitely let cure for at least a month before you give a true review! Interested to see if yours stretch like mine did. Not supposed to stretch much as it's an indica but I went from 2' at flip to 5' at harvest. Good yielder with rock hard buds!
@Johnnyb__blazin, Thanks for the kind words. I flipped her about 4 days ago. So far I haven't seen much of a stretch. She is really short and bushy. I have another plant in the tent with her. That one has shot up at least 6" since I changed the light cycle.
I have my SCroG net as well, and the canopy hasn't even reached the netting.
Very nice!!
She's filling in well.
It looks like you may end up with a nice yield of some top grade buds.
You did an amazing job with handling these girls. I will be following your diary so that I can admire your plants and of course to see the final results.
Happy growing!!
