Would of been preferable to let her stretch but its crucial going into week 4 that those tops get by the large fan leave and shoot upwards. Should see significant growth this week and she’ll look much better than now, all bunched up.
Day 21 - She has maintained her “bushyness”. She is now tied down light at 20” plenty of tops. Once she starts stretching especially early flower I have no doubt she will have monster colas!
This was an explosive growth week, usually always is for me between week 3 & 4 is where I see the outcome of the early LST at week 3 which in most cases I doubt myself still to this day. If you look at day 15 she looks like she’s been through some weird transformation. Now here we are exactly the outcome I was expecting. By the formation and structure of this beauty, I can already say she will be a beast. I’ve now LST all other tops and will ensure to keep an even canopy with regards to height and remove foliage that inhibits lower sites from receiving adequate lighting. I prefer having 80% top tier AAA grade cannabis by using this technic (will requires lollipopping and removing lower nods in 2 weeks time) then having bigger yields but more popcorn buds, less density etc.
Week 5 will see the introduction of Liquid Weight (natural sugars) to aid with the flower formation, essential carbohydrates the plant needs for good bud development. Pre-flowers have started but I will maintain Veg nutrients for now and switch the Bloom once the flowering is more prominent.
All pics are from Day 35.
I let the coco dry out tad too much and immediate calcium deficiencies showed sign. I gave her multiple feeds of spring water with some calpro and a light feed to solve that issue. Will monitor closely this week to see how well she is drinking. Leaf colours look fine although she could intake more nitrogen the current ratio of the pure blend pro is 1-4-5.
Found a better way to LST using the hooks I found.
Day 37 - Giving her another light feed with sufficient calmag to rectify the calcium deficiency.
Day 39 - Received another feed with everything listed above at 600ppm. The lush green is coming back to the leaves and the wilting has been reduced with the small heater. I’m aiming to keep the tent above 67 or 10-12 deg lower than day time temps which were last averaging 77 and 55%RH.
The colours in the leaves have started to come back from the quick deficiency of calcium that occurred simply because of the coco was too dry. Six Shooter is a heavy feeder and requires plenty of calcium. I tied down all tops once again and for the final time to fully expose lower bud sites.
Start of week 8 and already solid buds forming for the past week. I am astonished with the density of the buds so early on these things will be huge!!! I’ve now lowered the light to 18” and fought off the calcium deficiency which the scares (spots on the leaves) will remain until the very end unfortunately. The deep green colours have returned without excessive signs of nitrogen toxicity so that’s definitely a positive. The heater in the tent has been a must and considering I’ve yet to figure out how to dial in a specific temperature (the thing is cheap) ideally I want to temperature to be 10 deg lower than day time, approx 65-66 degree.
End week - buds are really starting to bulk up now, in overdrive mode hopefully these will grow as big as the zkittlez although I’ve not lollipopped this time around as I will be using these extremely resinous lower buds to make some bubble hash and it will also serve as a comparison for future grows 👍
Last week of using the AN Nirvana.
This will be the last week of receiving the bloom nuts then 1 week of flush. Tops are purple and beautiful, blue extremely resinous strain - will be great for extractions.
They have been watered 4 times, pre-chop pics, will report once cured with final dry weight 👌💯👍
Drying temps have been between 66-70 & 50-55% RH
Wet Weight 356gr.
Fast explosive growth and early bud development. Requires Cal-Mag and extremely PH sensitive. She has the potential to be a monster, LST I would say is a must to control height with this strain. Will definitely grow again.
This strain is powerful and don’t count on being overly productive once it hits you in the face. Highly recommended, amazing bag appeal with a pine woody terpene profile.
My new FB favorite strain
