Brestling I decided on going with the GSC after extensive research, fantastic reviews and advice from friends. I'm using a 0.6x0.6x1.4m grow cabinet. Germinated without any problems using glass of clean water and planted into soil as soon as tap root showed. Sprouted 2 days later and was moved to big pot on the 16/10.

Brestling After flawless germination and planting, this is now the beginning of week 2 of my GSC grow. I have added a light fan to encourage stem growth and started topical root blast feeding and she's loving it. Watering with mineral water (occasionally carbonated) and have Going to start lowering lights incrementally and adding photos soon, there hasn't been a lot of growth to show yet. Feel free to hit me up if you have any tips :) *edit* fan turned down as it was too strong and she was starting to lean into it. Lights lowered to 55cm, light feeding started and new leaves are sprouting at a healthy rate. Still looking a bit spindly though.

Brestling Into week 3 now, growing at an astounding rate now. She's doubled in size in the past 5 days and is showing no signs of slowing down. New growth is looking lush and healthy, although some of the older leaves are beginning to develop a few small yellow spots and I suspect that it has something to do with 2 tiny flies I noticed and removed a few days ago. Happy for any tips on getting that under control.

Brestling Starting on week 5 now, missed a week as I was away but I'm back now and she is still exploding! Currently standing at 72cm but not showing any signs of slowing. Not really having any issues other than her rate of growth. She has been extremely resilient to some temporary fluctuation in temperature, showing no signs of slowed growth or other stress. She's developing a nice thick stem which along with her growth I feel I can only attribute to her root system so the nutes and large pot seem to be doing extraordinarily well. She's also beginning to establish a noticeable scent within the room so I'll have to get a carbon filter soon. Have now pruned her lower branches to improve airflow and focus her energy on the canopy. Trichome development has just begun to develop.

Brestling Week 6 already! And boy is she well on her way. I had to fit a small carbon filter because the smell was overwhelming in the room and leaked to the rest of the house whenever the door was opened, but the carbon filter completely eliminated all odour in the room and confined it to within the grow box. The scent is is a pleasant mix of almost a sweet creamy cookie with notes of lemon and that classic dank musk of cannabis. She is frosting up very well indeed. She was stretching a bit high for my liking at the end of last week just on the main Cola, so I pulled it down a little and she responded very well to it. It also helped to even out the canopy and create a much more even light distribution throughout the primary and secondary canopies. I also forgot to mention that I lollipopped her a little about a week ago (late, I know) to help with light, ventilation and yield quality, but left 3 of the lower branches, 2 of which are now just below the main canopy.

Brestling Not much to say to this week, everything is running smoothly. Flush started a week ago, light distribution is fantastic and temperature is very stable. Stay tuned.

Brestling Enter week 8. Flush stared a week and a half ago, yellowing is setting in. Buds getting nice and fat, frosty and dense. Trichomes are coming along nicely, as are the pistils and harvest looks to be set in a week to a week and a half. The fragrance is still a fantastic creamy yet sweet citrus with a dank afternote. Pretty stoked and starting to get excited for the cut.

Week 8. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Really cool strain! Quite resilient and forgiving, still yielding very well indeed in quantity and quality. Had a few minor issues throughout the grow but fast buds have done an excellent job on the genetics. During flowering she gave off a strong creamy citrus aroma which nearly thwarted my carbon filter so that and her size make her a wee challenge for a small stealth grow, but it's manageable. She wanted to outgrow her box so I tried a big of last minute LST which did the trick but I should have been more thorough, might try topping next time. The high is a pleasant head high with a slightly delayed body high that varies in intensity depending on the dosage. The flavour is rather fruity and almost sweet, with a herbal background flavour. Very pleased with this strain and can't wait to grow it again!

Brestling Very nice to grow, fairly hassle free and resilient regarding temperature and nutes. The seed that I tried sprouted and flourished first try without any issues and recovered from replanting exceptionally well. Throughout the grow I didn't do too much other than some light LST and a bit of defoliating to stop her from growing too much airy popcorn bud lower and focus energy on the colas which worked very well. Harvest was a bit of a mission as the buds were fairly dense, but full of leaves, which didn't make for fun trimming. Drying was stress free, just 12 days in the drying cupboard with a light fan and humidity control. I pretty much left it entirely alone to do it's thing. Cured for 2.5 months now and I'm thoroughly enjoying the fruits of the labour. I certainly recommend this strain to anyone looking for a good quality auto with decent yields and lots of trichs. S.o. to fast buds, great job on the genetics with this one, well done!
