Strain
Humboldt Seed Organization
This is a review for Humboldt’s Green Crack CBD. This strain is supposed to be approx. 6% THC and 12% CBD.
I had some troubles very early in life, it rebounded, and then was a powerhouse from then on. I put this plant in a massive pot and it grew a nice, huge stem. This plant was a bushy beast! Very, very healthy.
Where I went wrong was the size of the container and judging the rate of use of soil amendment. I really do feel this strain struggled with the excess of nutrients, and I believe still accessing nitrogen late in life made the buds more veggie and less dense.
That being said, I still got some nice product and am totally happy. During growth they smelt of orange mixed with some fuel. After harvesting, it took a bit longer to dry and acquire taste through the beginning of cure than other strains, but it was fantastic once it came on with more aroma. It came on strong!
The taste is a light citrus/orange, with a broad tolerable, neutral, woody, middle and after taste. Because of the high CBD content, this bud goes for a long time pumping out visible vape bag after bag. Not only do you have to vape it for awhile to reap all the reward, I find perhaps because of the CBD content the strain really “creams” well. That is, real thick vapor that adds body to the toke. This is a really ideal mixer weed both in terms of taste and how it owperates when vaping. It can make a bowl taste like candy and the quality last longer.
The effects are mid range. Not that strong, but irrelevant upon mixing. It would not do great as your only strain. Would be effective before more important work, or for lightweights that have a low tolerance. The upfront effects are not strong, over time the CBD does make one a bit tired, but not concussed.
I really enjoyed this strain and the distributor seems quality. I already have a sea of Green Crack CBD on the go in veg.
