I apologize for this diary not being thorough. I haven't had the extra time to fully document, or even give this grow the attention it deserves. Now that I have a couple grows under my belt, I feel more comfortable and know what to expect. I wanted to try and keep things as simple as possible, so I decided to try the Lucus Formula and only use Maxibloom through the full life cycle. For the first few weeks, I used nothing but filtered tap water, and once the plants had a few set of leaves, I began with a half feeding. After a week, I bumped to the full 7g/gal of the nutes and have continued that to this point, week 11. One plant looks to be at least a week closer to being ready to chop. I plan to flush after this week and cut the larger one, and then maybe one last feeding for the other. I think I will only grow 1 plant at a time going forward as I always have an issue with keeping both healthy and on pace. And LST works great in this setup.
This will be my last grow with multiple plants in the same basin. I thought since I had two of the same strain that they would grow closer to equals. But again, one plant seems to do better than the other. The one that started out strong and fast ended up growing slower and producing less. Also has a more hay like smell. The other looked like it might not even make it, but one day just turned things around and took over. This one has nice full buds and smells like candy. This strain responds good to LST and I think I could get a similar yield with just one plant. Was a fun simple grow with a decent yield.
