Ph tap water 99 mll
Wednesday 6/11/19 - Fast buds new strain , this is 5 days from seed into propagator , just ph tap water until root gets into reservoir , running the impressive Spiderfarmer sf4000 led into hydro buckets , Every day I am putting 10 mL of tapwater into the cube just to make sure it doesn’t dry out Sunday 10/11/19 - roots are into reservoir , this is the key to good growth , in soil or coco they can grow freely but because of the air barrier in the cube , it can be troublesome, this is the most important part of early growth in hydro ,get that root into the solution without drowning it . The foil stuck around the pots is to stop light leak into the root ball Now th3 roots are in , I have added nutrients , the picture shows you the concentration Spiderfarmer SF4000 - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SF4000LED/223610159856 Pacakaging of the light is perfect , I have shown the size, the width ( side thickness ) is approximately the same size as an iPhone length

Tuesday 12/11/19 - Check th3 ph - it had dropped to 5.2 - moved it back to 6 . I will shortly move sunlight hours up to 20/4 Thursday 14/11/19 - upto 20 hours on of sun , I think this is optimum for autos as I had some that never flowered on 24/0 Sunday 17/11/19 - into big pots But of leaf discolouration because of neem I have taken some cLose ups to show you , the neem I hope will get the thrips under control , it will have an effect on leaves and you cannot use in flower 🌷

In the big pots , looking a little damaged to the neem oil spraying , hopefully this will give the plants a bit of immunity , we will see , these next two weeks they will explode in size ... Weds 20/11/19 - pulled off the damaged leaves , I’m still fighting th3 thrips battle , I have reached out to mammoth microbes , but they won’t send me any of their bio control , as it s not been tested in the UK .... I said I’d test it !, lol cmon bro s , sort it out ! Check ph daily - it can go up as well as down , today it was 5.3 so I added some silicon to bring it up

fighting the war... cmon Mammoth lend me some Bio :) Taking a bit of a gamble and using the DWC I made myself - these have 20 litre reservoir 28/11/19 and put into flower nutrients, did a bit of bending One of the plants is getting some abuse wit’s some LST , I did break one by mistake , but hey that’s life 😜 I’m not sure my DWC s are a good idea 💡 Well better to try and fail than never try at all - Experiment 😜

hello my guess is, it seems as the plant suffered from abundance of nutrients lately.that's why leaves turn out like this I think.Same happened to me a couple of times before right after switch to flower when I watered them with insufficient amounts of water, they couldn't absorb the excess nutes and this occured.I don't know how things work in dwc system but there might be something close to this.looking like phosphorus problem but again I think it is because of excess nutrients.cheers

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down, even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . Ok one has gone purple the other hasnt :) I’m still of the opinion that’s it’s too much calcium , maybe due to the microbes improving the circulation, next change tomorrow with out any cal mag we see what happens 🤞 Changed reservoir Thursday - Boxing Day Had a few issues with calcium with this strain , it first appeared two weeks ago , I m of the opinion that maybe the concentration got too high locking ou5 the nutrients , ph is perfect at 6.3 but still later on we are seeing it in the other plant , this could also be the boxes , as this is the first run with them we can see if it’s going to happen with the northern lights 🤞 Big one is trying to go purple , the gold in her leaves is quite amazing , a side product of too much calcium I think

Last few daYS .... which pic do you like the most 1-4? took one down today - 524g of wet buds sorry about the shit pictures but i really have no space...... There has also been a bit of a discussion on Instagram about ripeness , if you look at nature fruits and flowers will be ripe for quite awhile they don’t spoil quickly but if you pick them too early they do taster look shit, The finest will be picked just at the peak of rightness and will be juicy and fruity and sweet and taste like nothing else. Don’t undercook your buds - the smell - once you know , you know 👍 I will say having the bigger boxes is a lot easier to flush , you don’t need to worry about water running dry I had wanted to chop her Thursday but she is just getting fatter and fatter , like my wife at Xmas

😀Well the other plant just kept giving , I am very impressed with the Spiderfarmer led , but we have noticed a demand for more calcium , or phosphorus I’m not quite sure which myself 🤔 Today is Sunday 19th , Day 79 from seed into cube Looks nice , very frosty , but dark , like a blackberry , I’ll post a smoke report in a couple of weeks Small plant gave 524 g of wet buds on stalks , bigger one gave 1016g of wet buds on stalks ; there is some popcorn 🍿 but it’s such a small amount maybe 100g wet I’ve had my first smoke today Sun 26 , and I would give a smoke report , but I’m too stoned so I’ll try again tomorrow 😜 Rizla silver KS ftw Small plant gave 96 grams of super dark purple , plant 2 dropped 188 grams , this one is my favourite at th3 moment , it’s more sativa and tastes beautiful.
