I’m driving myself crazy trying to figure out what to do. I’ve been on the web, sent an email for help and scoured social media. I hate feeling like I’m harming my girls. I just got one plant doing a little better. Now the other has joined in. Gelato is a rock star.

I took the two LSD-25 girls down to basic nutes. Weak, weak mix. 1/4 recommended strength. To rest them. 11/6 LSD-25 girls put on pHed water. I saw some yellowing on b. LSD-25a is definitely worse. The next set of leaves is cupping, rolling under, clawed. 11/8 She hasn’t grown at all since Wednesday’s picture. ):

3rd week of veg. I stepped up nutes over a few days after time in pure, pHed water. Got the LSD’s to 1/4 recommended strength. Have the Gelato on 1/2 strength. This is when I messed up my foot and ankle while Tim was gone followed by no way to pH for 2 days. Broken pen, lost order. Had to hydrate/calibrate new one. Part of me wanted to quit and start over. It was frustrating. But, Gelato is still good. And, LSD-25a is coming back. I don’t see how the little LSD-25b will do anything. But, everything is new to me. I am learning. I appreciate all the help I’m getting. And, I’m doing this.

Nutrients listed are for the LSD-25’s. I figured since I had such a rough time, others might too. Watch pH on these ladies. Constantly. Keep nutes on the weak side. When I went 1/2 strength, they didn’t like it. Go really easy to start. Too much is easy with them. Got a little nute burn on the tips of the Gelato on Saturday afternoon. Switched out the solution.

Sadly, this week might be the end of this grow. We had a water pipe break. Flooding in the house. Releasing mold and allergens in the air that are making me have to leave the home. Made worse by floor dryers. Post cancer, my immune system is still weak. I’m bringing in an environmental inspector. I need to find out if the plants are affected. Or, if they would have ill effects on me. 11/28 - I’m going to keep going for at least the experience. I’m not quitting. We will have anything harvested checked. Or, I’ll just dispose of it. I haven’t decided. I can’t find a clear answer on safety issues. Let’s see what happens!

I put my pots in silver insulated bags. I wanted to block what I thought was light causing algae. My water temps have always been in the 60’s. That couldn’t be it. This time of year, I have to set it out to warm up to change nutrients. It comes out the tap in the 50’s. My plants have never been happier. Algae is no more. Roots are growing faster. Little LSD-25b is looking yellow again. She’s done this throughout. I think Is worry if she didn’t look pale every few days. I gave them a all normal CaliMagic dosage this week. Last week I gave less of everything. I shouldn’t have with CaliMagic.

Wow does my house smell good. Not cookies for the holidays. As you see, there’s no kitchen. LOL It’s the girls. I’m still growing them. I’m not sure how much longer. We have to move out for a week or two. More kick up of dust coming. I changed the reservoirs again today anyway. I can’t bring myself to just let them go. It’s been such a ride getting them this far. I want to go as far as I can. 💚

What a ride! I had so much help. So much support. All through my trial by fire. I learned so much from talented growers, helpful strangers m, and even FastBuds gave me help after I reached out. Stellar company! No question who’s beans I’ll be popping once I clear out these contractors. Get that dust out of here. They do leave, right? LOL I’d like to live at my house full time.

How are your roots looking/feeling? My first dwc attempt my plants looked very small and unhappy and it ended up being a root infection. You can brew some hydro tea to populate beneficial bacteria to fight root zone pathogens. On that run 3 years ago I ended up pulling my plants out of the dwc, hit the roots with physan20 dunks and transplanted into coco coir. They were stunted but was able to get them to finish. Not saying you have to transplant, but it is an option if it doesnt seem to recover. I would try the hydro tea first if you can. You will need some beneficials like great white or similar (not sure if great white is the best but it's what I have) backstrap molasses, earthworm castings, nylon sock (cheap pantyhose works great) strong airpump, a bucket, airstone(s). Make sure to use RO water or water that has been dechlorinated. I do 4 gal ro water, 6 tbsp of molasses, 2 scoops of great white, 1.5 to 2 cups of the EWC in the nylon sock and brew for 36 to 48 hours. I suspend the sock directly above my airstones. You should end up with a mushroomy slightly sweet smelling product. If it smells like decay or moist soil, it's gone bad. I add it at 20:1 ratio 20 parts nute solution 1 part tea. You must use it within 24 hours of brewing or you can store it for a few more days in the fridge. I use it on all of my plants in coco coir, dutch buckets, kratky tubs, and soil. Hydro can be a testy B but once you figure it out, the speed and yields are worth it.

@Ga4rd2en0er, The pic above is one plant. Over 10 days. Top left, top right, bottom left then bottom right. I took her fan leaves off. So, she looks smaller. I’ll add a picture of the roots. I think they’re okay. Thank you so much for the information on the tea. I’ll have to start looking for what’s needed.
