This week was a good week, the two (2) Hulunesia's {hp1 & hp2*b} {{ *b = budzai}} settled into their new bigger pots. And really started exploding in growth, hp1 more then hp2 understandably so.
hp1~ growth has exploded since transplant; it was topped a week ago and has two pronouced branches already formed and growing rapidly almost every time I look at it in the am & pm; the first node is formed on new branches with second one budding, once third is visible I will then top those two branches; after the new branches start forming I am going to then start LST and tie down the main stalk to the side of the pot
hp2~ looking healthier by the day; transplanted same time as hp1 but growth has been slightly slower; I topped this plant the same time as hp1 as well; this plant is going to get be budzai trained, placed so it starts the bottom of an eventual 'S' shape for initial design of main stalk (see picture if description does not induce clear imagery); two new branches from sides of topped node are becoming more pronouced but slower growth due to high stress of transplant and its first training of its stalk, stunted growth is acceptable because of this;
11.17 ~
Topped both of the newly formed branches after 1st node. New growth is already budding (am) leaves are all reaching high in the sky like its praying to the cannabis gods for guidence in how to create thc in a cbd plant
Great week.
Growth is reliably steady & strong.
Topped 2nd time, & trained the 2 main branches from a "Y" to a "T". Successful so far as you can see in the picture from Week 6.
Moved the light down almost a foot, noticed the girls leaves really reaching for the light, so moved it from 22" down to a cool 12". Seems to have done the trick.
Still trying to figure out this amazing cultivar out ;)
So far so good tho,
Hulunesia is in soil batch #3 too & I haven't noticed any burning like with the mystery plant which unfortunately had basically been stuck in a pot of cooking compost 😭 still stings.
Live & Learn! Make sure you're soil isnt too hot.
Soil batch #3 is detailed in written notes. #4 is mixed and ready for first run of some blue dream crosses being sent to me.
I'm loving this living soil & composting tho...learning how to make my own liquid nutrients from a new friend too so I'm excited for that knowledge!✌️
