Made a huge rookie mistake with this one, while transplanting ending of week 2 I completely ripped 75% of the roots in half including the tap root. I transplanted her anyways and after 2 days of wilting it sprung back with new growth. After some research i read that this is kinda like topping the plant and will divide the tap root like topping, not sure if that is true but i am going to continue with this grow to see what happens in this case.
I am planning of Veging this one until my previous grow is completely harvested, likely in January/Feb 2020, I will switch to 12-12 to begin flowering and Germinate a White Widow XXL Auto and a North Lights XXL Auto and use what i learned from the older grow on them. 2-3 weeks after that i will germinate a Cement Shoes Photo and a White Widow Photo, and try to get a cycle going of vegging and flowering for autos and photos. As soon as the Do-si-dos is harvested i will return to a 24 hour light schedule and rinse and repeat- plant health pending.
No real updates during this week besides all that. Sprouted, and transplanted end of week two. Photo was taken morning of November 11th. Day 2 of the journal.
This week was written after it already occurred.
Transplanted the Do-Si-Dos on Day 12. Accidentally broke tap root and a few small ones. Read that its possible for the plant to recover- also this is going to have a long veg time next to auto's so i don't mind the long recovery time and it is not a waste of electricity unless its massively stunted come 4 weeks from now. Not too much to say about this week, this grow is happening same time as my main grow with the auto's.
Day 15 Update- 3 days after transplant / Root Damage, and theres new healthy (?) growth continuing from the main stem. There seems to be maybe some cal deficiency starting but im treating it alongside my other grow with calmag to see if that makes a difference. Watering with a seedling blend and a small soda bottle daily.
Day 17 Update- New node is almost completely grown in with the 3rd node starting. some moderate nute burn and upwards claw on the 2nd node growth due to the broken PH pen (same as my other grow), however i also flushed him along with the others and fed him a special weaker seedling blend then the others after the flush and he seems to have no new damage 30 hours post flush, and is picking up growth.
Day 21- Plant seems to have recovered completely, and from what i learned with my other grow seems to be going healthily. Prepare for another possibly sad mutilation with this guy though, the plan for this guy is mainlining / manifolding and i am going to attempt to clone the bottom shoots and terminal shoot to have 4 manifolded plants flowering late january.
Going to pause this journal for now, allowing her to grow out then taking clones from it and restarting the journal from those, my other auto's became too large and i do not have the space to veg this plant yet.
