The Bob Ross of weed. This has to be one of my favorite strains. Have had some variance from different growers. Looking forward to growing my own. Seeds popped in 24 hours. Planted in soil at 36 hours. Broke through the soil and made a mad dashing stretch for light at 52 hours. Planted in ProMix HP. Plain old water.

Week 2. Coming along nicely. Had to support the stalk as the second set of true leaves developed. First watering was with B52, next one included all nutrients.

Good week. About a half inch of vertical growth. Decent growth in width. Up to three nodes now. Hoping they get their legs and start taking off soon.

Plant are growing well. Lots of vigour. Neighboring plants had a fungus gnat infection. Working to keep it out of these babies. Have yellow sticky mats and have been putting diatomaceous earth on top of the soil as a preventative measure. No visible signs of the gnats in the soil, or symptoms on the plants.

Plants are growing well. Topped for the first mainline split today. Did a soak with neem oil yesterday as a preventative against the fungus gnats that invaded my clones.

Expected slowdown in growth after trimming. No signs of fungus gnats. Waiting for a few more nodes before the next mainline trim. Messed up on a clone attempt as my medium was too wet.

2nd mainline trim this week. Expected slow growth again after pruning, but plant seems healthy. Still no sign of fungus gnats. Instead of full prune for mainline stretched it out over a few days to ease the shock on the plant.

A burst of growth after our the plants recuperated from the mainline trimming. Now that they're growing again, lets add more stress! Repotted the plants into 5 gal fabric pots. Full root mass from the 1 gal pots. Moved them into the big tent. Now they're vegging under the 315w CMH.

Plants are enjoying the big tent. Added the 400 watt HPS this week. The heat from the HPS is nice, helping stabilize temp and humidity. Will most likely switch to flowering at 12". Growth is always zero the day after watering, is this an issue or a common thing?

Humidity is too low outside to have the HPS running right now. The air exchanges required to keep the temperature down with the HPS running dropped the humidity to around 30-35%. The ladies weren't happy. Just running the CMH we're averaging around 60 percent humidity and the ladies are much happier.

Added the 400 watt HPS this week. These ladies struggled at first as the new light was causing too many air exchanges and dropped the humidity. They were still growing, but leaves looked like tacos. Increased the temperature to reduce air exchanges. Humidity went up. Happy little plants. On the verge of switch to flowering. Waiting till we're up to 16" before making the switch.

What a week it's been! Very healthy and happy plants. Been tweaking the temperature to keep the humidity in line and the plants are loving it! Great growth and they're looking good. Love the way these ladies are growing. Nice and open. Looking forward to bud development!

Trimmed all the side branches. Left some on the top where there were so tiny. Plants didn't skip a beat and kept on growing. These ladies are stretching out nicely. Accidentally broke one of the tops when I was pruning. Thought it was a goner, but with a splint it a little duct tape it came right back.

These ladies are very nice. They had larger internodal space before flowering and seemed a little lanky, but they're filling in beautifully now. Discovered we had a fungus gnats this week. Just using yellow sticky papers at the moment to trap the adults and monitor the situation. Spreading out the watering a little bit more. Hoping we can avoid any other treatment and ride these little pests out till harvest.

This plant is absolutely amazing. It came on with purple new leaves during flowering which are trending towards a beautiful pink hue. I'm totally in love with this thing.

Patience Padawan. One of the ladies is looking so close to harvest! We could be chopping in a week! Just saw the first few brown trichomes starting to form. And the buds are getting huge! Ended up tying the branches rogethe for support. Thinking a peony ring would be perfect for these plants. May end up staking the branches before harvest.😁

The ladies are packing on weight this week. Ended up having to tie up the branches and they could no longer support the buds. One of the PKs is showing amber trichomes. Gave a thorough water flush to this plant and finished off the watering with Flawless Finish. It's really smelling great. Will most likely be harvesting the one plant this week. Looks like the other can use a bit more time. They smell fantastic. And the pink! They're actually pink colored Pink Kush! Totally loving this grow.

Harvested one plant. Once again mainline for the win! Super easy harvest and wet pruning process. Into the drying box. Have a passive outlet into my grow tent. Keeps humidity in the 45% range. Another week or so on the other plant. Looking forward to trying out my new bubble hash bags on the trim! Now to hurry up and wait for drying and curing.

This is a crowd pleaser. Everybody who has tried this bud loves it and wants more. It is definitely the Bob Ross of weed. Puts you in a happy place and the troubles of the world melt away. After a month long cure it continues to improve in flavour. And the buds were pink! They're still pink now and when you grind them the bowl is full of pink goodness.

Everybody loves Bob Ross. From the pink buds to the happy mellow buzz this is a great plant to consume. Growing was great. I'm a real fan of Barney's Farm and can't wait to try a few other strains. Had two different phenos in the growing - one was long and lanky, the other was short and fat. At the end of the day its hard to tell the difference in the buds. All came out pink and beautiful.

Damn gnats! Good luck bud. ((if need be)) Along with your sticky pads, a light neem oil foliar treatment once a week on just the undersides of the larger-lower fan leaves will nip em' in the butt quick. Spraying the top soil a bit can't hurt either. And yes of course watering less often.

Yes duct tapping can become a magical part of any good run. From my experience it really works wonders. Nice grow

Those buds looks nice... Im going for the same color. Did u have to lower temps as well to get this color or did it come above 19+ celcius ?
BlueBerry7720
BlueBerry7720commented5 years ago
@PureMedicin, I have my heater set so the temps don't dip below 20 degrees at night. The soil was gets to cold if it gets colder. The color changed a couple of weeks into flowering. Started with purple leaves and then the flowers drifted into pink.
