So i think @Easygrower is onto something. She's definitely behind (growth-wise) where she should be.
I have two theories as to the mistakes that could have generated these results. 1.) Topped too early and at all.(not all autos respond with vigorous growth post-topping) 2.) Pesky fungus gnats and thrips (I've been having an unspoken war with these buggers for the past 5 weeks)....
I've heard thrips (a.k.a leafminers) have a toxin they release upon chewing the leaves of plants, that hinders growth. I'm really leaning toward that being the case given that growth rate didn't really slow down until around when i started noticing them/ the fungus gnats. Either way, i have a solution. Im going to be hitting all of my plants with triple action neem oil. REALLY strong stuff. Going to be applying twice per day. Once when i wake up, and right before bed.
Had to use this stuff during my second-to-last cycle with outstanding results.
If she winds up staying rather squat, i will likely move her outdoor as it's about to be spring where i live. So it wouldn't hurt her. Im going to start a new Zkittlez Auto in her place if that occurs. Gotta keep the perpetual, well, perpetual.
Aside from the slow growth rate from this girl, all of my other plants are doing awesome. Cheers everyone - and for all my Cali growers- outdoor season soon!! Woot!!
Hay dude howโs it going she is late going into flower Iโm 10 days ahead of you and mine is nearly done maybe you should drop your light down a bit still looking good man keep it up๐
@Growlecule, I was definitely feeding with N, the Tiger Bloom and the Grow Big had a sufficient amount. The issue lies in that they are chemical fertilizers and my setup is more oriented toward an organic grow. I should have just used the Big Bloom because of the organic ingredients. As I didn't have an organic source of N at the beginning of the grow, I decided to just use the Tiger Bloom + Grow Big along with mycos, big bloom, and molasses. I have a second Purple Lemonade using that second formula (mycos, big bloom + molasses) and she's been completely green the whole grow. That's minus the chemical-based ferts. I've also come to find out that my Fox Farm soil is still pretty hot with nitrogen, so I tend to lay off feeding more than what the plant tells me to. Now that I've got that figured out, she's shaping up nicely toward the end. Quality-wise at least. Definitely lacking in yield. Harvesting her on day 98 from seed.
Also, I 100% hear you on that point about my overpowered LED..... I've already bought a new tent, and was intending on having it up for this grow.(3ftx3ftx6ft) But I couldn't get it up quite yet, because of being sick, and spring cleaning.
Thanks for stoppin' by ;) ๐๐
@RunWithIt, hi budd!
Your lights are oke now, watch for burnt tips, 600w lights @36cm will be on the edge. Your plants sufferd from this during seedling/veg stage, she is
Making 3 bladed leaves only, typically stress move. Could be heath from the light, the intensity of the light.
600w on that height is almost like growing next to a supernova. Especially for little autoflowers in seedling/veg stage.
Raise your lights next run and your plants love you even more๐๐
1 more thing, why did you dose bloom nutes in veg stage? First nuties should contain N for veg growth.
Happy growing gromie!๐๐
You're plants look like thier doing really well, I'm also doing a Mephisto genetics strain - Auto S.O.D.K . I've defoliated it and it's doing pretty well tbf. Its pre flowering/ pre flower stretching. Happy growing
