Blue Cheese Auto - RQS

Day 1 - 12/12/19 So here we are... Day 1 of the blue cheese automatic, ive been really excited to get to this point as im not just growing basic strains and small strains. ive got my bearings in terms of growing and im going for flavour, high thc content and big exotic plants. Ive always had a lot of love for cheese and blue cheese so i cant wait to see how my own turns out! Id like to say a big thank you to RQS for filling my order and getting it here on time and in perfect condition! if you guys get a chance visit the RQS website. they have some lovely cool grow accessories, merch and some amazing seeds! So i popped this seed straight into its final container as the jiffy pellets i have wont soak up water. they stay hard in the middle so i binned them. I put it in the tent along with the other plants i have and im gonna lightly water it the next couple of days to try and make sure it sprouts! check my other diaries and happy growing!

Day 19 - 30/12/19 This one sprouted with a green leaf and a white damaged leaf which has slightly slowed growth. Im gonna keep it going as its the only blue cheese seed i had and my last blueberry seed didnt sprout. might add in another plant to the tent to achieve the yield i need to be self sufficient. Keep on growing folks!

All is well for the blue cheese! changed how i hang my light - its now hanging with adjustable rope rachets instead of bungee cords :) now i can grow seeds with a height up to 1.4m tall! this blue cheese will probably be under 1m tall but im really excited as blueberry and cheese are among my favourites! BC is about 47cm tall now and should stretch through flowering, no smell from the plant yet. cant wait to get a whiff of it! Ive been giving just enough nutes for her and shes growing happily! check out the photos and give my other diaries a look if you get a chance. Il update again soon until then keep on growing!

Day 37 - 17/01/20 This one is going fine. love blue cheese so im excited to smoke the buds once they are dried and cured. some leaves were going a bit dry and weird colored so i flushed the plant and its dried up completely in 24 hours. im gonna water again now with only phed water and tomorrow with only phed water. Its 60cm tall so going well at this stage. i only raised the light yesterday or the day before and i had to do it again today. it still needs raised more because they are growing so fast! Il update later in the week, happy growing until then!

Day 43 - 23/01/20 Blue cheese is coming along great at about 65cm with a weak blue cheese aroma and medium build with compact and dense looking bud sites :) It took me back to the first time i tried blue cheese in Spain! outdoor grown in the heavy summer sun it was some premium weed :) Only a few weeks left until il be remembering that smoke a whole lot better :'D Il finish updating later as im on low battery :) take care folks!

Day 50 - 30/01/20 Really starting to smell fruity and stinky now :) Its pretty dense and chunky too, the buds look packed! and looks healthy enough! lost a few leaves to wrong PH and my ph meter needing calibrated last week. all is well again and i think this one is a week behind my smoothie plant. Day 60 - 09/02/20 Lovely smell coming from the blue cheese plant :) the buds have a very similar smell to the blueberry outdoor grown buds i smoked in spain a few years ago :) took me right back there mentally haha. Ive added a good feed of calcium magnesium, nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus the last few days as these are big plants and a few leaves have been yellowing over the last couple of weeks. Since these feedings everything is returning to normal and flowering is going fine. This is my first time growing in biobizz light mix so i was bound to run into some problems. Still i think im gonna get around an ounce from this plant. I think harvest is still 2-3 weeks out for this one but as its a favourite of mine im really excited! Day 69 - 18/02/20 The Blue Cheese plant doesn’t actually look too bad after me not caring for it all week while having the flu. It has developed some nice purple and yellow colors or deficiencies haha. But yeah I fed it with a lot of nutrients and it’s drinking 2L of water per day :) Looks about 2 weeks away from harvest to me :) Let me know what u guys think?

Day 84 - 05/03/20 This is now my second fattest plant next to the Polyploid I had a few months ago. And I didn’t take too many pictures but the ones I did take were quality! The plant had a weird growing pattern. Stems grew directly outwards instead of up and with the heavy buds some almost snapped! The buds are absolutely huge, I’d estimate anywhere up to 2 ounces. Maybe slightly just over. And the Pineapple Express in my other diary is about the same I think. Il let you all know how curing goes and I’ve got an absolute ton of trim there so il probably make some more edibles soon!
