She’s off to a nice start we put her in the cloner to develop a taproot long enough for the net pot, once we obtained the taproot we moved her into a net pot and put her into the recirculating DWC.
I think the DWC nutrient solution was probably a little too hot for her. I’m sure she will grow into it and by next week or the week after she’ll be looking great again.
She was severely light deprived but she seems to be recovering. She has started sprouting some side branches and is looking better. Since she will be under a meter at maturity I’ll veg her out to a nice little bush.
I didn’t have access to the veg area most of this week. The pictures are from the first day of the week. I did have access to the reservoir for the veg area, so they should be ok.
She looks like she had a magnesium deficiency. I might try foiler feeding her. I’m running my magnesium at about 80ppm total, enough to show slight blue on most of my vegetive plants leaves. Since there is a single reservoir feeding the entire area in series I’m confident that it’s specific to either the plant, her location or her grow tank. I should probably check on her roots as well.
She still looks like she has a magnesium deficiency. I sprayed her with a 500ppm magnesium sulfate solution at pH 6.0 on Thursday so hopefully we will have some improvement next week.
I thought she needed magnesium. So I sprayed her with 250 ppm of magnesium sulfate at pH 6.0. She immediately began clawing her leaves. So I flushed with 15ppm solution with no improvement.
Looks like I’ve failed this week. I have no photos of her. She is still growing in her sickly state. Leaves continue to claw while older leaves suffer from what looks like a severe magnesium deficiency. I’ve looked for bugs on the underside of fallen, sickly and healthy leaves. There is no webbings to be found either. Next week I’m going to put her in flower. Perhaps she will improve in flower.
She’s looking much much happier in flowering! I’m not sure how but I’ve grown her bigger than she is rated for maximum height. The end of this week she was 60” or 152cm tall, her rated maximum height was 39” or 100cm so I’m a good 50% taller than rated!!
WOW 🤩 she got HUGE. The longest meter on earth! Seriously she looks amazing. I’ve seen some harvests from her her on GD and I’m super excited to have somehow gotten her over 5 feet tall! Stay tuned this is going to be special!
WOW she is a monster! Just shy of 2 meters! Well 1.7 meters. Still good for a strain that is rated for 0.9 meters. She is developing quite an impressive stature with an abundance of beautiful bud sites.
