During the first week the plants started to get a little burnt from the 315W so I swapped to my Bestva 1200w LED to let them adjust. Things seem to be going well after a few days and started easing back into the 315W full time. Pick up some Rhizo during the first week and have been spraying 1-2 times per day for 7-10 days.
Topped all 6 plants on day 11 during week 2, They responded well.
Sprayed rhizo 4ml/gal on day 13.
Nutes listed above were for the SVF’s at 1/4 strength watered on day 18.
Cheese cakes were watered day 20 at 1/3 strength: Canna:
A&B: 5ml, Rhizo: 5ml, Cannazym: 5.5ml
GH Calimagic: 2ml
PH: 6.3
PPM: 403
Day 22: fed 1/2 strength nutes. PH: 5.7, PPM: 518. Topped off soil on 3 SFV’s.
Day 23: sprayed plant therapy as IPM. Sprayed 6ml/ 24 oz bottle.
Day 24: def just over 1/2 strength nutes. PH: 5.6, PPM: 762.
Day 27: sprayed with Plant therapy. All plants have been looking great the last few days. Training is going well and they are starting to widen up.
Day 28: watered the SFV OG’s with plain PH’d water: PH: 5.85, PPM: 87.
fed Strawberry cheese cakes with just under full strength. PH: 5.86, PPM: 809. These did well with nutes. Going full strength next time around.
Day 30:
watered Cz cake-R plain waters PH: 5.9, PPM: 89.
Day 31:
mixed up more Plant therapy at 6ml/24oz and gave the plants a good spray. Installed trellis net.
Day 32:
watered other Cz cakes (L & C). PH: 6.0, PPM: 87.
Fed SVF’s. PH: 6.1, PPM: 974.
Took clones: 2 SVF’s and 1 Cz cake
lollipopped all 6 plants pretty heavily.
Day 33-35: plants were blingin’, I just let them do their thing. Didn’t see much stress from cloning. Bounced back quickly.
Day 36:
Fed all 6 plants full strength nutes. Felt like they could be filling in a bit more. But overall everything is going well.
PH: 6.15, PPM: 1021
A&B: 17ml/2gal, Rhizo: 15ml/2gal, cannazym: 19ml/2gal, Calimagic: 8ml/2gal
Day 38:
Plants still looked light green in some areas even after a full dose. Decide t and clean things up a bit.
Day 39:
Fed all 6 full strength again but added extra extra to keep ppm below 1K.
PH: 6.19, PPM: 955
A&B: 17ml/2gal, Rhizo: 15ml/2gal, cannazym: 19ml/2gal, Calimagic: 8ml/2gal
Day 40:
Looking great after feed. Plants have been lollipopped and spread out into trellis. They are starting to get tall. Figured now was a good time to flower. End of Veg.
***I will be updating this post again with info on days 6 & 7 in week 1 of flower.***
Days Veg’d: 40
Day 1 Flower:
Plants were getting big and things seemed to be going well so figured I’d flip when they are happy and not stressed out. I sprayed with Plant therapy mixed 6ml/24oz spray bottle. Pulled a few leaves that were blocking light.
Day 2:
Pulled a few more leaves that were blocking light.
Fed all 6 plants. This was first dose with the Vegetive II dose. I mixed up 4 gallons but only fed about 3 gallons. Just wanted to see if it perked them back up and it sure did.
PH: 6.19, PPM: 1095, temp: 65.9°F.
A&B: 10.25ml/gal, Rhizo: 7.5ml/gal, Cannazym: 9.5ml/gal, boost: 10ml/gal, Calimagic: 4ml/gal, PH down: ~1ml/gal.
Day 4:
Plants are looking great! All are blingin’ and looking happy. There is a bit of light green going on but nothing to stress on I don’t think. Trellis is damn near maxed out with 2-3 heads in each square. Next few weeks should be interesting.
Day 5
Sprayed with Plant therapy.
There was still a bit of light green showing but After giving a bigger dose just a few days prior I wasn’t convinced they needed more ‘N’. Decided to water with plain PH’d water and see if it was possibly a salt build up issue preventing the uptake of nitrogen. If it gets worse I know they need ~1200ppm next time I feed.
PH: 6.15, PPM: 84, temp: 68.5°F.
Day 6:
Wasn’t much to do. I pulled a few leaves and Lowered the light down to 24” other than that they looked happy so I left them alone.
Day 7:
Installed Floraflex matrix drip system to make watering easier now that the trellis is up. Check our next weeks post for a quick review.
Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14).
This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more.
Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on.
The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either.
Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3!
Day by day break down:
Day 8
Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites
Day 9
Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136
Day 10
Plants look great. Let them do their thing.
Day 12
Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264
Day 14
sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40” tall at the max.
Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!
Week 2 ended great and rolled over into week 3. I Fed them on day 15, just 2 gallons though. Ph: 6.05, ppm: 1165.
I fed again on day 18 and sprayed with plant therapy. Ph: 6.13, ppm: 1420. Foliage is getting dense again!
I broke to small bud lower bud sites while pulling leaves but they seemed to bounce back quickly. I just hate wasting days in flowering!! 😒
By day 21 the pots were still fairly heavy so I let them go until they feel lighter. I don’t want to over water these girls!
Aside from breaking My phone camera and those 2 small bud sites; and thinking feeding 5 gallons was a good idea, I think week 3 went pretty well.
Buds are definitely starting to stack, trichomes are showing up every where and plants are starting to smell real nice! 👌🏻😎 looking forward to using PK13/14 next week and seeing how much they benefit from it!
Stay tuned for more nuggetry!
Well... this week was a doozy. Things started off well and seemed to be going fine but then I noticed the smallest SFV OG was showing signs of what I think was PM. It was only on a few branches, but not any buds, and it wasn’t very bad. I sprayed with Plant therapy hoping it would help, but by the next day it seemed it was starting to come back. (Not cool)
I did some research and landed on mixing up some baking soda to spray on them. Only problem was, I sprayed with the lights on. The next day I noticed they looked completely different! All the white hairs were gone and it looked more like a formed bud. I think they didn’t dry off quick enough and caught some sun burn 😎. (Also not cool)
By the end of the week they seemed to be more back to normal and there wasn’t any new PM showing up so fingers crossed it doesn’t come back! I’ve tried to keep temps above 76°F and RH below 50% so PM has a harder time growing.
Wish me luck!
Week 5 was kind of a breathe of fresh air for me as things seemed to be getting back on track. Plenty more white hairs coming in. Buds are swelling up nicely. Also, I haven’t noticed any PM showing back up any where! I think I got that figured out, thank god!
The cheese cakes are still looking great and don’t seem to be having issues. Frost is strong on this strain and it’s smell is super sweet and fruity.
The SFV OG’s seemlike they were bouncing back fine and are still putting on weight. Buds look super frosty and they are a smelling like PURE GAS! This has the Kush smell and bud structure I've been looking!
I noticed a few weird spots showing up on the SFV’s leaves and at first I wasn’t sure if it was deficiency or lock out but turns out these plants are heavy feeders and also like extra calcium and magnesium so i will be upping the PPM’s and adding in some more Calimagic for these girls.
I’ll be back in a few days to update with week 6! Stay tuned for some frosty bug shots!
