@Magnetous,After 5 days drying iv now put into jars to cure..off the 1 auto i got 5.1 oz...Im amazed tbh as didnt expect so much from an auto..ill add pics soon
We all read loads im sure about this amazing hobby and everyone has their own take on things...for example..i have these 2 auto atm..and the 2 iv treated totally different. Early on i decided to top the amnesia as compared to the afghan she was rocketing past her for size, to me she looked more hardy. I decided to top her early, and from the looks of her she has responded well after id say about 2 days shock. Iv also pruned her underside alot more than the afghan due to her hardiness.
I will not be able to tell you anything until they both give their harvest, but, im guessing they will both produce a good crop.
I think to be good at this requires time with the plants, it sounds funny but its true, you learn loads looking closley each day at them. the growth pattern, their hardiness, their reaction to stress, light, training...all of those things.
I love this Diary...best site ever...happy growing all, lets share and learn :)
I love running autos; especially in cooler climates or grow rooms, without HVAC heat or electric heat since the light can act as a heater and you run it 24/7. I also like starting Autos in April, in soil or promix and then moving them outside for the summer solstice (longest daylight hours of the year in N. Hemisphere) just as the weather is getting nice and there is no more risk of frost so they can bloom like beauties (if you like in cooler climates that is . . .).
Woah buddy. They weren't kidding about it being XXL. This thing is massive and looks beautiful. Great work buddy. I can't wait to see her finish up in a few weeks. She's gonna make some fat yields. Cheers buddy :D

@Charley66,Hello Again...the pots are plastic to which iv added extra drain holes..dont know the litre size im afraid just know they 40cm diameter...as for run off you wont believe but there is never really any to throw away..after ten mins its all been sucked up by the plant...It seems alot of water but again thats what it takes to get a little run off...I guess the plant was just very thirsty.
@Jayjay78, thanks. How many liter does your pots hold? Are the pots made of fabric or plastic?
With all that water running of again, doesnโt that cost a lot in nutrients?
@Charley66,I actually water 5ltrs per watering..ill adjust it on the stats. Im a big believer in deep watering..which to me means watering until run off. I then let the roots soak for ten mins before draining. I do this every 4th day atm..each pot is a 40cm..hope that helps.โบ๏ธ
