All 5 FastBuds Blackberry germinated in soil and sprouted in 4 days!
Excited to record the progress and final product.
First feed on day 7. All 5 shared a 1gal mix.
Ready to start recording week 2!
Day one of week 2 and everything is looking great! I have one girl that is already looking like shes gonna have some issues but I'm sure I'll snap her out of it in a couple days. I'm planning on feeding every other day with a flush after the 3rd feed.
DAY 9 TIMER MALFUNCTIONED AND PLANTS WERE LEFT IN THE DARK FOR ABOUT 18HRS SO THEY AREN'T VERY HAPPY. SWITCHED TO 24 FOR THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AFTER A NICE FEED.
Start of week 3 and they are definately taking off!
Day 18 I took off the single leaf undergrowth and cleaned up the stock. I'm splitting 3gal of feed every other day and will be bumping it up accordingly.
Start of week 4 and they are getting a 3gal feed between the 5 every other day. Just bumped the feed up to mid VEG.
I've cut off all the single leaves and 3 leaves besides the one in the middle witch looks stunted but she's looking a lot better sinse last week.
Start of week 5 and first week of flower!
A couple stretched a bit more than I wanted but I'm not upset. I'll be setting up trellis net tomorrow (day 31)
Nutrient measurements aren't accurate I just don't have my chart in hand lol
Well this is my first run using Nectar For The Gods and I probably wont be using it again. Not a fan of calcium based nutrients.
I have to flush the next few days since the calcium build up was so bad and the 2 of the plants arent looking very happy.
End of week 6 update:
Still dealing with the nute lock, probably wont feed again for a while. The 3 in front are still looking sad but 2 in back looking decent(ish)
Still happy!
So I messed up by not having lifted drip trays so I'm still fighting off some nute lock. Everything settled at the bottom of the bags and the PPMs are still high. I flushed them super hard today and will again in another 2 days.. Hopefully we get rid of the claw before harvest.
Well after a ton of flushing I've finally got my PPMs to a normal level lol
Picking up pot elevators for the next grow so i wont have this problem again.
Hopfully in a couple days they will be back to normal but after being stunted I'll probably try and push them for another 2 weeks.
It's my first auto grow so now i know what NOT to do next time lol
Last day of week 8 and they are slowly uncurling and looking a bit healthier.
Not bad for the first go around but im definately ready to start over and correct the mistakes i made.
They are looking better after the heavy flush but they've still got some time.
I think I'm going to go with Purple Lemonade or Gorilla Glue for next grow.
Any suggestions on another FastBuds strain??
Aside of them being locked out for 2 weeks they still produced decent. The buds are super fruity and deep purple. A different seed must have slipped into the pack because it never purpled out and it smells waaay different.
Overall I'm happy. I'll have to try it again after my Gorilla Glue run amd not lock them out😬
Still got everything in jars curing. The next week or 2 the flavor should really pop.
They smell really fruity and look great. Great bag appeal.
I'll probably be switching to Advanced Nutrients or Fox Farm after the next grow.
@Troll_Patrol, Awesome I'll have to watch your grow to see the comparison!
These we're highly recommended from a friend of mine and after seeing what he pulled off i had to give it a try lol
looks great.
i'm growing some blackberry also and i am in week 10.
hopefully i will see some amber trichomes this week.
i thought they'd be ready by week 10.
