Critical Mass (Bag Seed)

Element First week for this plant! She’s a Critical Mass (bag seed) and it was planted on the 11th this month and is starting to grow the third set of leaves!

Element >Applied Bactohemp to the plant around day 10, Critical Mass had a really huge grow boost the next few days!

Element The closet where I’m growing her was placed in a really cold place of my house, the temperatures were lower than what they should be, so I moved it to a hotter place and the temperature is already moving up!

Element >Critical Mass is in coco coir so im using CalMag, Coco A and Coco B as nutrition >The closet where the plants are, was in a cold place of the house, already moved to a hotter place, temperatures are going up! >Need some help trying to identify if the Critical Mass is female or male, since its a bag seed and I dont have any guarantees that is female!

Element >Already 5th week in veg, gonna continue for a while because the first few weeks the plants grew really slow, I think due to the cold, sometimes at night temperatures would drop to 10 degrees Celsius! Right now, when the light is on, temperature is around 22-25 degrees Celsius and night temperature around 16 degrees Celsius >Started LST a couple days ago and she is responding very well

Element <Applied some Perlite on top of the substrate because the roots were appearing on top of the substrate and were too exposed

Element >Did some light defoliation throughout this week to promote some light penetration on important spots! >lots of new colas have been stretching up to the level of the main one, LST and defoliation doing its trick!

Element >Pretty sure its a female plant right now since it has been developing female organs, I think I’ll switch up the photoperiod soon!

Element >Been switching lights this last 3 days, from 18 to 16 to 14 and finally down to 12, next week will be the first of the flowering stage!

Element >Really impressed with how this bag seed is coming up, lots of branches, all full with buds sites that look promissing!

Element >Moved her to another grow tent and I’m now finishing her with a 400W HPS. Tied her down a lot to increase light penetrations since I have much more room in this tent than in the previous one

Element >She’s finally starting to put some weight in the buds, and that main cola looks really promising 😍

Element >Had to lower the main branch cause the top bud and leaves were getting crunchy and burned from being too close to the light, and it’s in a place where I can’t rise the light anymore

Element >On the first day of this week (113rd) I cut off the upper part of the main branch since I was able to see that about 30% of the trichomes were already amber and fully developed! However, the rest of the plant still has something to develop and will be able to receive more light this way >On the last day of this week, cut 2 more branches since they were really well developed and now the rest of the plant can have more space to finish the lower and smaller branches
