Royal Queen Seeds blew me away with their genetics last grow. So much so I'm growing the Gorilla again along with another 2 of their strains including this one, their Purple Queen.
Just water week 1.
Started adding the nutes at 1ml/l. Just using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A+B for veg, Will add in some molasses after any HST or defoliation (stress).
Looking good so far.
Pics are from day 19, which is the day I topped all the plants. Topped them for a second time a little early - should have waited a couple of days for the new growth. No real damage done though and a lesson learned.
Topped to the 3rd node, stripping everything below, and topped each "stork" at the next node creating 4 main branches per plant.
Seen a little cal deficiency, but increasing the feed concentration to 2.5ml p/l of each will nutrient type sort that out in the coming week.
Will be transplanting to 5 gallon pots in the coming week, once the plants have bounced back from the heavy mainlining techniques they've just been through.
Transferred into 5 gallon pots on day 25. Last few pics are day 28 after 3 days in their new pots.
Each plant has 4 main branches after the topping growing through, and the heavy HST is now over. Added a little Cal Mag into the mix to fix any nute deficiency showing on oldest leaves I left after the heavy defoliation last week - all plants' new growth is green and healthy.
Will increase nutes until I see a little fingernailing over the next 2-3 weeks and add 2 trellises for support before flipping to flower about week 6-7.
Pics day 37. Humidity has crept up as the plants veg.
1st-level trellis will be added tomorrow after first heavy defoliation, which should bring humidity back to optimum. Hopefully, will be able to flip these to flower within 10 days.
