OBJECTIVE - 6 seedlings of Sativa dominate Amnesia haze - pH at 5.8 with a PPM of 100 using Clonex cloning solution with an LED lamp to kick things off. - First attempt at aeroponics with seedlings. SUBJECTIVE - Used a couple gallons of distilled water just to cover the pump - Used a couple mLs of clonex solution and a few drops of pH down to get to 5.8. CONVERSATION -We're using Clonex solution for the seedling stage due to the simplicity of only having to use one nutrient to mix into the water. We only do this until the roots are long enough to be put into our recirculating deep water culture system in which the nutrient bath gets more complex.

OBJECTIVE -186 PPM - pH Goal of 5.8 -Exchanged water bath and changed nutrients to FloraDuo A/B and Calimagic - Ratio of 2/1/0.5 of FloraDuo A, FloraDuo B, Calimagic respectively -Added Hydroguard -Added air circulation SUBJECTIVE - No real quantity measurement of pH up/Down or nutrients stated above - Around 2.5 Gallons of distilled water for water exchange CONVERSATION -Who loves the seedling stage? We don't. We had a lot of pH fluctuations which required daily adjusting. The leaves on plant C are the worst, they are getting crispy and we thought by exchanging the nutrients with fresh water that would slowly fix our problem (we can't really pin point whats going on with it which is part of the reason why we switched out the nutrients/water). We have 1 seedling that has taken very long to produce its first set of mutated leaves, all the other seedlings have not grow any leaves but their roots are still growing larger after a week of putting them in the aeroponic system, have a strong feeling of having to toss those down the line. We did notice the roots browning and were concerned of it being root rot due the visual appearance of plant B and C but we also think it could be due to nutrient staining. We also think the plants could be could be having problems due to an aphid infestation we had in our last grow.

OBJECTIVE -Plant A moved to separate 5 gallon bucket today due to size; she is now 29 inches (this is temporary) under a 600W HPS bulb at 50% power with an air stone providing oxygen . Plant is supported in clay pebbles. -1 more seedling added to the setup -pH maintained between 5.5-6.2 with adjustments made every 24 hours (goal 5.8), although pH measurements may be inaccurate due to meter malfunctioning -159 PPM in aeroponic setup; 200 in bucket -Exchanged aeroponic water bath again today (will continue to do this weekly - used 2 gallons) and continued using the ratio of 2/1/0.5 of FloraDuo A/FloraDuo B/Calimagic + 2 mL Hydroguard (beneficial bacteria solution) per gallon of water -continued air circulation and 24 hour light exposure SUBJECTIVE -pH meter began malfunctioning two days ago - when placed in solution, the reading decreases over a period of ~20 seconds (did not used to take this long to read, & beginning measurement is nowhere near end measurement - so true measurement is unknown). The meter is getting progressively further and further from the actual pH of a control solution. Waiting for new meter to arrive in the mail. -The slower growing plants have grown slightly, but are not experiencing growth anywhere near that of the larger plants - result is all plants are at very different stages of growth. Largest plants (A&B) look relatively healthy. -Older leaves have continued to develop spots, but this seems to be slowing down except for plant C - all the leaves from the first node have turned crispy and disintegrated, and browning is much more progressive on newer leaves than on the other plants. Still unknown exactly why this is occurring. CONVERSATION -Not knowing the actual pH is frustrating, especially in light of the issue with browning and leaf spots - this could be due to pH extremes or fluctuations, so it may progress until the new meter arrives. -Plants are in VERY different stages of growth! Plant A was moved to the bucket because it outgrew the aeroponics setup, while others aren't even an inch in height (and may not survive). We may have to modify our plan (maybe clone plant A and use those clones to keep everyone a similar size?) if this trend continues or if the small plants don't survive.

OBJECTIVE -moved three more plants into the rDWC system three nights ago (total 4 plants in the system now); three seedlings remain in the aeroponics system -aeroponics system nutrients same as last post (2:1:0.5 A/B/CaliMagic ratio used to achieve 200 ppm + 2 mL Hydroguard per gallon of water) -rDWC nutrient solution consists of 2:1:0.5:2:0.3 ratio of A/B/CaliMagic/Diamond Nectar/ArmorSi ratio used to achieve 200 ppm + 2 mL Hydroguard per gallon of water -water pump in DWC system currently is constantly running (will put on a timer tonight so that it runs for 20 minutes every 6 hours instead of constantly) -topped plant A for the first time SUBJECTIVE -plants in DWC system have developed significant root browning (root rot vs nutrient staining?) - leaves plants in DWC system are pretty droopy - hoping that this has improved when I check on them later. Plant B has developed more brown leaf spots since moving it to the system also -as was the case last week, the seven plants that remain are all in very different stages of growth and states of health CONVERSATION -The future of the 3 remaining seedlings is unknown - they seem to have stopped growing, which is upsetting because we still have two more buckets to fill in the system (holds six plants). If they die, we might have to clone the good plant to fill the voids -Straight up not having a good time with these plants so far. We had issues with seedlings from the last grow also (white widow), but not this bad. Growth issues probably due to pH fluctuations in the aeropoincs setup (hard to control! Goes up to two pH points in 24 hours) -drooping of leaves moved to the DWC system might just be due to the shock of the move, but the pH is much more stable in this system than in the aeroponics setup

OBJECTIVE -moved the last plant (E) into the system from the aeroponics setup so that all buckets are now occupied -maintained the same nutrient ratio and ppm as in previous posts -ballasts for lights are still at 75% (to increase to 100% once we get a more powerful fan to cool them) -removed lower growth that had spotting/marks -put on the scrog 8 inches from the top of the buckets and topped the 2 plants (A&B) that were ready for it SUBJECTIVE -all plants are appear noticeably healthier (old unhealthy growth removed + new growth does not have issues) -pH in this system is much more stable than in the aeroponics system, where it fluctuated quite a bit over 24 hours (most likely the reason they were spotting/browning) CONVERSATION -Finally! Everyone looks good and the issues we had are correcting themselves. The plants still are variable in size, but in the long run this shouldn't pose an issue as we will more extensively scrog the faster growing plants. Excited to see their growth in the coming weeks!

OBJECTIVE -maintained consistent pH (goal 5.5-6.5, average 5.9) and nutrient ratios as stated in previous posts -increased ppm to 430 this week -flushed the reservoir ( to do this every two weeks - so this is replacing water and nutes for about 80% of total solution volume, as the rest is in the buckets themselves during the flush) -trimmed out some excess ducting that cools the lights -leveled the lights and ensured all three were 14.5 inches from the top of the scrog -continued to top and trim out undergrowth SUBJECTIVE -there was a period of 36 hours where I hadn't set the water pump timer correctly, so water did not recirculate throughout the system during this time and the plants only had a static amount of water where the pH likely increased significantly - there is some (but minimal) leaf spotting resulting from this (same issue as when we had the seeds in the aeroponics system -small volumes of solution seem to have larger swings in pH, where the pH is much more stable in the larger volume reservoir) CONVERSATION -Besides the timer mix-up, everything has been pretty smooth sailing. A&B are still much further along in growth compared to the others; tmw I'm going to increase the light intensity to the smallest two plants (E&F) to 100% while keeping the other two ballasts for A-D at 75% in an attempt to even out the growth. All plants have very different phenotypes! Interesting to watch grow... bushy vs lanky, squat vs tall, straight stalk vs every other direction. Excited to see where they go!

OBJECTIVE -maintained pH 5.5-6.5; ppm 430; Changed nutrient ratios -scrogging continued -switched the places of a few plants (in subjective) SUBJECTIVE -Plant E (who is now Eduardo) and plant F (who is now Frank) continued to show less growth than the other four plants in the system. We still had the mutant plant in the aeroponics system just to see if she did anything interesting, and she had been doing really well; more growth than with Eduardo or Frank. Because of this, Eduardo was removed from the system and the mutant plant was added in its place, as the mutant is further along in growth than Eduardo. We're stuck with Frank, as we don't have another plant to switch with him. He's growing, just very slowly. CONVERSATION -overall, still really happy this week. Everyone continues to grow and looks good!

OBJECTIVE -Added 1900ml/hour humidifier (custom made)- Replaced small one -Maintained same nutrient ratio as last week and pH range - Raised lights approx 1.5 inches ending with a light distance of 16 inches from top of scrog -Heavily defoliated SUBJECTIVE -N/A This week CONVERSATION -The new humidifier we added pumps a lot of humidity out, raised us by 10% within the first hour, our overall goal is 50% rH. The defoliation was due to how thick the growth was, some leaves/branches not getting any light and the scrog looking a little crowded. Plants A through D are filling out nice, Mutant(no letter) is growing out steadily but is more stout. Frank is growing slower, our scrog might have to be cut short due to the other plants out pacing it by a long shot. Overall, continued to see healthy growth, looking back in the diary during the early weeks, makes us a little embarrassed at how the plants looked. We've adapted and are coming up with a new solution for starting with seeds. It's not a bud shot, but hopefully you all can appreciate a pretty shot of veg for photo of the month <3

OBJECTIVE -nutrient ratio 3A : 1B :1CaliMag : 2 Diamond Nectar : 0.4 ArmorSi and 2mL/ gallon water to attain ~500 ppm and pH maintained between 5.5-6.5 (average ~6.3) -continued to scrog SUBJECTIVE -we made and added a powerful humidifier to try to maintain a 50% rH (at this stage of growth) but it leaks because we need to replace the reservoir that we placed it in, so the mediocre one is still supplying SOME humidity (usually can maintain at around 30% if it's filled religiously). Going to buy a watertight reservoir so we can use the good one we made -everyone continues to show healthy growth. Big boy (plant B) is clearly the best choice for us to clone, as it spreads and grows the best of everyone -each plant is from seed, and continue to display varying phenotypes. Frank (plant F) is still the smallest, although he looks healthy and oddly a lighter green than the rest CONVERSATION These girls and boys (gotta be fair, hence the names) are doing way better than we had thought at first, with the way our seedling stage played out. Taking the stretch after veg to flower flip into consideration, were probably going to need to flip within the next week otherwise we might run out of scrog space. Really excited for these bad boys!

We wanted something colorful👿

We took 10 clones from B and 9/10 have rooted, cannot wait for that grow. Our scrog has filled out very nicely and we have nice spread out plants, still baffles us that they are only 8 inches apart from the top of the bucket to the scrog level. Everyone should keep a look out for when we introduce Project- Red Tide

It's official, we have all girls (with some boy names 💀) Looking at other peoples grow's of this strain they have grown some spears, were hoping to do the same. All 6/10 clones of big boy will be transplanted into our new reservoir and the other 4 will be given to another grower friend. Hope you guys enjoy this update and the harvest soon!

I'd say upwards of 4 pounds if you run into no problems from here on out. I yielded 2.7 pounds in the same space using 1200 watts of LED lighting in 12 weeks. Your veg was twice the length of mine so you should be able to get that extra 1+ pounds from that alone. I'm aiming for 4 pounds again on my current grow. Same veg time but this time I have an extra plant and I'm not making the same mistakes as last time. Anyways good luck! I'll be following :)

OBJECTIVE -Maintained pH -Raised Lights -Added second scrog then removed -Changed Nutrient Ratios -Up'ed ppm SUBJECTIVE -Heavily defoliated twice this week CONVERSATION -Things are looking great! Starting to get a sweet smell. We bumped the ppm up by 500 and changed the nutrient ratios, we got a little nutrient burn on the tips. We think we defeated stretch, the plants have stopped/slowed completely. We're a little confused because they're predominately sativas, we were expecting tall plants. Less stretch gave us much tighter bud spacing than last time. Some apex colas have a little light stress but the majority of the colas are at equal distances so we don't think its worth raising the lights more for a couple colas. I'm getting a little concerned about yield, but that's me being paranoid.

OBJECTIVE -Maintained a 6.0-6.3 pH range -Bumped ppm to 1200 -Exchanged water nutrients SUBJECTIVE -Adjusted one light an inch or so -Heavily defoliated twice CONVERSATION -Flowers are getting dumb thicc honestly, everything smells really sweet, like a nice floral smell with a sugar splash to it and a normal bud undertone. Were trying to maintain the pH between 6.1-6.3 to hit more of the phosphorus and potassium hydro ranges to contribute more to bud size. The pH has been dropping down dramatically this week, will drop down 0.8 within 12 hours, they're all really thirsty. We bumped our ppm up to 1200, we think we hit our ceiling because we saw some of our bigger plants with nutrient burn. We think this is the last week we can defoliate because the buds have kind of stopped growing leaves and are getting very big within a day. Harvest is looking like its going to be around may 5th👻

The buds are getting starting to get really sticky. Buds near the front side are really big compared to the rest, we think it has to do with that bulb being newer. Some of the pistils are turning orange. Approx 20-30 days until harvest💪
