##1/3/2020 ppm: 300 Aeroponics 2.0 rig testing with green crack strain - starting with 1 plant and will expand to 8 grows once all the kinks are worked out of the system. In the above pictures you can see the 2 tents currently being used. 1. Incubator tent with some lower wattage grow/veg LEDs, this is where all my plants start life after seedlings have sprouted. - 3-4 weeks pending strain and if plant is a clone vs seedling 2. Main grow tent - typically 2 weeks vegetative and then switch over to flower Aero 2.0 setup: mistking cycle repeater timer and mistking pump 3 nozzles per container with 50 micron heads external reservoir at 10 gallons 2nd external reservoir at 30 gallons (float valve for auto-filling). Working on a air lift pump for re-circulating back into res without gravity. Then the buckets can go back on floor. Incubator setup: ultrasonic mister from ebay with replaceable Teflon disks 24/7 on throwing a dry mist in container (just floats like a pool buoy in rootzone).

Overall a fairly simple week. Made a custom humidity controller using a ultrasonic mist maker from ebay and outlet control humidstat from amazon. Raised TDS of solution to 400; some of the larger fan leaves died off. Root development is looking great; very fuzzzzzy roots.

Another good week, just puttering away on grow. Did some high stress training on plant to space out a bit better. Added 2 more buckets and moved 2 plants from the incubator tent. See the video for details. PPM: 400-500 in res; the drain side is only spiking 50-100ppm. Looking fairly good. Trying to keep VPD bit more in range on this grow; closely controlling temp and humidity. Issues: 1. humidifier died in spectacular dump of 4 gallons of water on the floor; made a custom system. 2. The drain line vacuum locks; going need a air-pump or vent line to break the vac. 3. The different plant sizes require different feed ppm and cycles on timer. The larger plant likes 5 seconds on / 5 mins off. Vid series over here on grow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C9piZD0Qs8&list=PLNiOfaE13UMnEon7e5ytiQTRkqMeSn2YH

1. Ahhh aeroponics, freaking nozzles. Good and bad week, misters kept clogging due to missing filter in system (old filter sprung a leak on coupling threads). Ordered replacement; will need to monitor and replace nozzles daily until new filter is in. Run a 5 micron physical media filter and this seems to keep plants healthy and more importantly, keeps the nozzles from blocking. Figured 1 week without a filter and it would be fine, not so much. 2. Drains, drains and more drains. Was trying to keep system simple and not run a return pump; having too many issues with the thinking. Gave in and ordered a self priming water pump for drain side. Will run on a timer and cycle on for 10 second per hour. Will be installed for next week for the update. This will allow me to drop the plants to floor and give the much needed headroom for flowering cycle when the ladies like to stretch a bit. 3. Plant soup Raised ppm to 600-700 range, slight bump, will monitor return lines to see ppm coming back and adjust as needed. Some nitrogen burn on smaller plants; but not overly worried. Primary issue with running plants at different stages in growth. 4. Creepy critters! Saw 1 of those annoying micro-gnats flying around grow light so I doused entire tent in a spray of lestoil and water; followed by neem oil and soap / water dillution on everything in tent (including plants). Wiped down. No more buggies have been seen since the purge day. 5. Baby tent and clone army Started setting up my seedling and clone mini-side-tent system. Will be fully up and running next week for clone snips from plants. 6. Glimpse of time Debating switching to flower cycle light next week, 1 plant is ready; 1 plant almost and 1 plant is lagging 2-3 weeks behind... Next grow cycle hoping to be a bit more uniform with the 3 stage growing tents (incubator, veg and bloom). 7. Power cost? nahhh i am saving money... i think Took a wattmeter and put on entire grow setup; pulling 1000watts while lights are on and 200watts when off. Assuming 1000watts 24/7 this puts my max cost at (LEDS worth the money!) 2.40 per day 73.05 a month 876 per year 8. Topping and scrog fun Topping from 2 weeks ago spread potential bud sites around. Some minor trimming to lollipop a bit. Training and scrog; some "medium stress training". Net is up to help spread the branches a bit.

Another good and bad weed. Bad: Lost a LED and PC due to power surge!! Might be time to consider a proper UPS. Some issues with drain system changes, first iteration dumped 10 gallons of nutes into tent due to leaky fitting. Second iteration dropped another 10 gallons outside of tent due to the hose slipping out of nute res when draining. Some lessons learned. Good: Drain system finally hammered out properly, working great with no issues. No more grow room swimming pools. Ramblings: Humdity was nice and high in tent for some reason; probably something to do with nute swimming pool. Floors are nice and clean now, almost like they were freshly mopped. Ordered a samsung quantum LED light for replacing the fried LED. Installing for next week and flowering cycle switch. Overall the plants look healthy and no real issues despite my many attempts on killing them. The blurple vs white pics; was playing with HDR setting on camera; much better without purple.
