Zkittlez FB

2nd round (1st proper) in DS60. Because first/test run gave me 0,9 g/w I guessed that its like riding a bike and that 12years of non-growing doesnt even matter... So I entered 2 battles on the AFN forum .. This diary will connect to the Zkittlez strain. I dropped the seed in the water for 24 hours and then into root riot cubes. I run it in 7,6L air pot, soil is Biobizz light mix with 10% more added Perlite .. (I usually find included amount of perlite insufficient in all light mixes .. ) I'll count today as day one, because today I moved them under the 250w MH .. Last time, I updated at the beginning of each week, now Ill do it normally and update at the end of every week, so I'll add one more update to this first week ..

Not much to report, struggling with humidity a bit because its freezing here with almost none humidity at all (5%]. But 45% with humidifier should be fine.. Ill do first LST during the next week (probably tuesday). Also they all got 2x foliar feeds of vitalink silica this week + root stim with every watering. next week they'll get first nutritions, 1/3 strengh. edit: showed preflowers on day 16

So week 3 is behind us ;) Zkittlez (preflowers showed on day 16) is just doing her thing and growing nicely ;) I applied LST as usual, I did one bend on day 16, then Im always leaf tucking 3-4x a day for 7-10 days and then do second bend session. Anyway thats the plan for now.... 16cm high even with LST ;) biggest of the tent... This week I switched Atami Bcuzz Root stim for Atami Soil booster... for 2 waterings in between fertilizings. They both had theyre first nutritions. As the last time Im using JUNGLE INDABOX for the base nutrients. After the first/test run Im pretty impressed by it.... edit: changed the smell because its getting really smelly for her age ;)

Zkittlez still a beauty. Shes really flowering now. Next time more to flower feed and HPS day 1 today, so they'll all finally get that flowering sun ;) Stretching a bit last two days. Strong lovely sweet scent already ..

Such a lovely plant .. smells so sweet... nice branching, nice internodes .. cant say anything negative about her .. budding up and starting to frost ;) full bloom nutrients for the whole week

Day 42. budding up nicely. short compact, nice top + few cute lower budsites .. Easy growing plant. takes heat like a champ. Next time Ill double the nutrients for her as she is really hungry a thirsty girl and because older leaves showed minor deficiencies few days ago (as shes sprinting to the end so far), but as I'm normally doing defoliation at aprox. 6th week anyway, I cut them all out. Im usually just doing light defoliation, nothing heavy. Basically its just about improving the airflow then anything else ..

day 50 doubled the nutrients. Older leaves are getting sucked by the buds that are swolling like crazy, N def showing, but I wont do anything about it at this point and let her finish .. Id say 3 weeks to the end tops .. Id compare it to the Fruit that I ran last time.. structure, height, lst reaction etc. everything is almost like a twin strain ;) except the buds will be much harder this time.. If the lower buds will connect she'll be almost one bud in the end ;)

last double dose of nutrients .. every watering it will go down from here and last two watering will be flush .. lots of milky trichs over past few days ... Id say 2 weeks .. expected much sweeter scent ... but will see when chopped ..

slowly lowering the nutrients, last two to three and then it will be water only... those buds are so cute and still bulking. the transformation to milky/amber almost stopped few days ago, so I will see how it moves during the next week

day 69 (or 74 when the seed got into the water) easy to grow, quick lovely smelling, lovely rock hard buds almost sounds like a perfect strain ;) test bud from monday tasted excellent .. like pine with citrus first then after the exhale its like sweetnsour candy .. exactly my favorite taste but in the end its still partly Grapefruit which is my favorite strain... 2 hits sent me flying for like good 2 hours with half stupid smile on my face .. summer vibes smoke .. 218 g wet on the scales so should be at least 50 dry which is excellent outcome for 250w in 60x60 tent with 3 more plants still growing ;) , but will update on that in about week... Dont have much time today so I took only one pic but Ill update some more during the next week or so .. Trichomes were aprox 10 : 80 : 10 (clear:cloudy:amber) which is my preference... Drying is in the brown bags.
