I soaked 4 seeds on friday afternoon. Friday night I moved them into a thin plastic tuperware container with 2 paper towels as a base, soaked the towels, placed seeds, placed 2 more towels above, soaked those in. Ensuring no puddles, I then sealed the container and set it on a Vivosun heating pad.
I transplanted them into a 32 slot starter tray with a coco coir, peat moss, and vermiculite blend (50/30/20) and soaked them in on Sunday early afternoon.
I watered them ever so slightly Tuesday night, all 4 have started to sprout.
So its been an interesting couple weeks. I waited about 3 weeks from germination to transplant out of starter tray into 1 gal pots with soil. I had some leftover happy frog from the summer i used for that, with some mykos and azos at the root zone. I watered them in with a nute blend of phosphorus, omina, and cal mag.
On week 6 officially now. I topped them last weekend. Roots are showing on the bottom of the pots, i plan to transplant to 3gals this weekend. I watered them last weekend with a mix of kelp, phosphorus, b vitamin, omina, calmag, humic acid, and silica. Aprox 1/64th tspb of each in half gallon of water.
This is week 93 but the system is lame and only goes to 30. This was my initial exploratory run where I grew 4 seeds of Jack Herer to select a phenotype for production. I still haven't isolated which one I like the best as I've only had very successful finishes with "A' so far. Currently D and B are in production flower and I abandoned exploration on C in order to simplify the efforts, but the bonsai plant is a C first cut original clone mother.
