I think i've found out how to stop bug flies from forming and lay eggs. put a small layer of coffee grounds on the top of the soil. They seem to dislike that and now i'm completely bug free.
Trasplant Day!
I don't want to wait too much for the transplant, autos don't like that, so she will be stressed for the next days but she will recover.
I also put her near the corner of the pot so i can train her more evenly, hopefully the roots won't mind that she is not in the center.
D16 - she is still stressed from the transplant, 0 upper growth today, she i still fixing her roots.
D19 - looks good, next time i will try an extreme transplant right in the corner or the pot, it should be perfectly symmetrical bush, but first let's see how this will turn out :D
The LST seem to have been to late, the bottom growth doesn't sprout branches as i imagined. Oh well, let's see how she will turn out, i'm curious if i can get a nice bush with these odds.
Basically i'm testing the limits of the roots and main stem if it can be done like this in the corner of the pot.
The bottom growth still didn't produce the branches i've hoped, but it's not all lost, she still has a fair bit of vegging left.
She began the stretching, let's hope she will become a nice bush till the end of this week, fingers crossed 🙏
She is looking healthy, just really minor burn tips from the nutrients, nothing to worry about yet.
Hi everyone, sorry i didn't post in a while, been really busy.
So yeah, she is growing nicely.
This time i didn't defoliate at all, let her bush out and it helped alot, she seems really healthy, except the fact that i might have still overfed her a bit, just a few yellow leaves here and there.
This time i'm sure she will mature with big buds :fingerscrossed:
Turning out to be really packed with buds and it is looking like my best plant till now.
Growing is not as easy as i hoped but in time we will master it :D
So yeah, not defoliating autos was the best decision i made.
Also i've stopped feeding her nutrients, the tip burn keeps spreading, that means she still have tons of nutrients inside the soil. I could of flushed the soil, but she will do just fine as long as she has so many green leaves left.
Going great, i can now finally see a nice bud site.
I wanted to germinate another Jack seed and it didn't germinate. hopefully my last one will, couse she looks so much better than the other strains i grew.
By the looks of it another 2-3 more weeks and it's harvest time. The top cola doesn't produce anymore new bud sites and she is gaining crystals slowly. Also alot of the leaves are turning yellow, signs of finishing.
Looks awesome!
We are nearly there, she looks almost done, a week or so til harvest.
Her leaves are almost all turning yellow. From what i have seen is that after they go completely brown she will not do photosynthesis anymore and she kinda stops in growing anyway.
I managed to germinate another jack and a royal ak, they will be next grow and that's about it for this years harvest. another one will start late end year. It's really profitable to grow your own cannabis if you are a smoker, costs about 50e a month for soil, lights, seeds and nutrients. But the yield is also around 40-50 grams if you do it right, so about 2 euro maximum per gram manufacturing costs, that's not bad at all.
Finally got my dream buds, she grew really nice and bushy.
Planting them in the corner of the pot was ok in the end, she adapted nicely and even made some amazing colas.
The strain was easy to grow and had a really high yield even if she grew only 75 cm.
Not defoliating autoflowers is the way to do it, only LST.
