(12/17 Day 60/66) Aggressive thrips treatment started: foliar spray/top soil soak of 10ml/gal Neem oil, 5ml/gal of Safer Brand 5118 Insect Killing Soap, (forgot to pH!!!!!!!!!!!!) before lights out. Started to notice some odd def/excess signs and wanted to get to the bottom of it so I flushed. My second carbon filter came in and is now being used as an intake. Performed cable management in the room as well. Will discontinue use of Carboload/bud candy. Adding sugar to a solution with microbes lowers the pH of solutions by almost 1 whole point over 24hrs (at rec ammount) due to increasing microbial life processes with an abundance of food. Microbes produce acidic compounds as a natural part of their life cycle, which is accounted for in most typical solutions, but adding in the carboload without a system tuned to having that drop effects plants severely (plus theres really no benefit even at that....) Mag def spotted today. Will get a CalMg Supplement asap. (12/18 Day 61/67) Second night of aggressive Thrips treatments of: foliar spray/top soil soak of 10ml/gal Neem oil, 5ml/gal of Safer Brand 5118 Insect Killing Soap, (forgot to pH!!!!!!!!!!!!) before lights out. (12/19 Day 62/68) Updated feeding chart with my new nute schedule (FloraKleen obviously for the flush ONLY). The Bud Factor X is nontraditional to add at this point since im not in flower yet, but they were showing a Mag def and my Cal-Mag Xtra wont get in until the 26th. Desperate times. I also bathed (heavy foliar spray) all of the girls in pH'd to 6.55 water. I washed them because I didnt want the pest control interfering with their respiration/transpiration process which can be a major concern. . **A further anecdote on the use of sugars as an additive in growing.** https://cropwatch.unl.edu/research-sugar-application-crops TL;DR: "In conclusion, research has shown no statistical difference among sugar sources when applied to corn or soybeans with no statistical yield increases. Numerous research studies have documented the increase of beneficial insects in fields and plots treated with a sugar-water solution, suggesting application of this solution as a biocontrol method for reducing pest populations. While there is yet much research to be done, sugar does play an important role in inducing plant defense responses and recent studies have shown reduced disease levels in rice after application of sugar prior to pathogen infection." ****Sugar might be a great soil amendment if growing with living soil. Might be a nice experiment to run sometime?**** (12/20 Day 63/69) Foliar spray of 2ml/gal CarboLoad, 2ml/gal Rhino Skin, 5ml/gal Rose Gold Biosurfactant, pH'd to 5.80 applied with 30 min of darkness following application right at lights on.

Nice looking grow. Certainly feeding a lot of nutrients. Looking healthy. Best wishes on the grow.

@Zannabis7, To you as well, ill follow some along! I wanted to go the organic route in the beginning myself but just ended up doing living soil for acouple months! Good chatting bud! :)

@Frak_Toggleson, I totally agree. Being a connoisseur of cannabis growing (and gardening in general) I find that growing is a total science. This is one of the things i most enjoy about growing cannabis during the winter months indoors. Getting and keeping the conditions just right is an art form (especially in a closet 😊). I love the challenge of perfecting the conditions and the feeding regimen. It is both and art and a science that keeps me learning, fascinated, and intrigued. I too have a "ton of shit" but try to stick with strictly organic nutrients because it all becomes personal stash for myself and gifts for my good friends. Best wishes...

@Zannabis7,Thanks for stopping by. Yeah there are a few of em! In retrospect two of them do the same thing as each other (BIG BUD and Terpinator), and another one of them has additives I wouldnt prefer for future grows to apply foliarly with my Chitosan! (Bud Factor X has Mag Sulfate and Potash in it as well for some reason, which just fucks with my entire foliar regiment since Mag Sulfate chemically creates a polymer with Silica, which obviously the plants cant absorb, it turns into strings of brown globs.... gross) The fact of the matter is, there are two schools of thought: Minimalism and profligately styles. Now, knowing what I know now though, there are a few things I think that both styles have wrong. The finesse of proper nutrition is far more complex than just having the right stuff for your plants at the right time. Proper nutrition is a complex issue that involves all your plants conditions throughout its entire life culminated to the present. This is a verbose way of saying, I HAVE A TON OF SHIT, but it cann be useful if used correctly.

Your girls are looking great! How’s the deficiency coming along? Flush your medium yet? Are you satisfied with the results you have using Terpinator? I was thinking about grabbing some but heard mixed reviews.

@greenleafcultivators, And the Chitosin im currently using is Bud Factor X, but ill probably get a pure chitosin for future grows!

@greenleafcultivators, Hey man! The def should be sorted at this point, but the necrotic spots won't go away of course, I'll defoliate in acouple weeks probably! Still haven't made my way to flushing, but honestly I wouldn't buy Terpinator. It's literally only Potassium Sulfate and water. The dominant use of potassium sulfate is as a fertilizer. K2SO4 does not contain chloride, which can be harmful to some crops. Potassium sulfate is preferred for these crops, which include tobacco and some fruits and vegetables. Crops that are less sensitive may still require potassium sulfate for optimal growth if the soil accumulates chloride from irrigation water. So unless you use hardwater vs soft or RO use a regular PK booster! Chitosin is really what you'd be interested in for Essential Oil concentration increases!

Hi my friend, your plants look great. I would like to get some advices from your experiences, it's my first planting. That's why I have problems on when to harvest my plant. Would you please look at my diary and tell me around when should I harvest my plant? Additionaly, I'm thinking that I will have 150 gr dried harvest. What is your opinion, do I have to wait for something less? Thank you. ☺️😇

@hiciste, Thanks mate! I wish I could offer any experience I have, but this is my first grow as well! Im sure others will be able to help out though! Stop by to give me some pointers yourself though! Ill be following your harvest now too :)

I use both mykos and azos products when I transplant I dip the roots, and I use Orca by Plant Success every 2 weeks when I water. you may want to try sprinkling it over the soil and watering it in so that you don’t have to worry about it dissolving into the water. I have done this in the past with good results.

@DeepRoot3d, Decided to switch to some of AN's line. Ordering Tarantula, Piranha, and Voodoo Juice. Connoisseur Grow/Bloom, Bud Factor X, Rhino Skin, and Bud Ignitor are in transit atm!

Haha dose everyone go on vacation when they have a grow? I might join the club it sounds risky though.
