Sour Kush fingers crossed

Day 2: Wow it sprouted It needed some assistance, I’m so surprised because I have had some issues with seeds from this source had a couple duds had 2 suffocated like this one almost did and another labeled as feminized grow into a big strong smelling male. This is the last seed I have and will have from them however I didn’t let the pollen go to waste from the super lemon haze and I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is a female and if it is not the pollen can be just as useful. I started by placing in water 24 hours (usually seeds crack for me in 12-15 hrs) I had my doubts with previous failures from these seeds. I had a little seedlings and clones nutrients left from a watering so I dipped a paper Towel in it then placed in 2 plastic lids and put it on my warm lights. 8 hours later its actually sprouting so planted it in some coco and fed with seedlings strength nutrients. The next morning I thought I had another dud by that white pale mutant coming out of the dirt the seed shell came off alone so I gave it the day and it still had not changed so I went in very carefully and removed the seed membrane. Thankful she sprouted and recovered from a cramped entry into life now time to keep my 🤞 it’s not a male if so maybe I can play with sour kush (Sativa) and skunk like I did with the lemon haze 🧐 Nutrients schedule: I am using GHE again and will be doing 20% drain to waste every 48 hours they will be 100% nutrient feedings unless there are issues which I will still use 1/4 strength nutrients never plain water for this grow seems to be working amazing with my super lemon x skunk no1 grow. Day 8: of the ugliest seedling I have seen. Well she is ugly right lol I added an image of day 1 the leaves came out a bit twisted. They stayed that way and she always appears to bend away from the light 1st leaves so far and they are a bit deformed and crimped from the shady start, even the tips of second set of leaves are crimped guess I saved it just in time. Growth is steady medium paced I changed from seedling nutrients to 1st week vegetative already out of laziness as she is the last one needs that low of nutrients however she handled the up grade in nutrients just fine. Nutrients: Aprox 100ml every 48hrs 10-15% runoff 100% nutrient feeding at ph 5.8 Per gallon: Ghe micro 4ml Ghe bloom 1ml Ghe grow 5ml Ghe CaMg+ 4ml

Day 21: Growth started picking up this week and thankfully the 3rd set of leaves don’t look damaged like the first two sets. She 🤞was repotted on day 21 and has nice white and thick healthy roots and stayed nice and short the way I like it. Might give a slight LST this week depending if repotting slows anything down. Week 4 day 21: Growth is picking up speed she is not really getting any taller still just under 4 inches but everything else is getting big, she has some huge fan leaves that I’m sure got more room to grow. Secondary branches started pushing their way out but these massive leaves block out light so I started LST. I also removed the very first set of leaf with the remainder of the seed pod they had branches starting but the first 2 sets of leaves were damaged anyway so snip. Going to start more aggressive vegetative nutrients this week hopefully she puts on some height soon. I must say these images even the last week itself reminds me of before she was repotted she grew right into the 2g pot pretty quick making it look like she still in a little nursing cup lol should have gone with the 5 gallon mesh pot for this girl.. The full tent image she is in a Sea of Monsters all monster cropped plants her fate in the near future. I also just got some 99.999% silver rods and made 35 ppm colloidal silver so just itching until she is ready to be cloned so I can start spraying the clone for pollen. Week 5 day 35: Good growth week she is still short only 6 inches but branches started pushing their way through the fan leaves so I did a little more LST and removed one central fan leaf to allow more light. Side branches already caught up to the main stem and there is a nice branch near the back ready to be cloned and sprayed with colloidal silver for some experiments. Smell is starting slightly at first she had a very fresh almost lettuce like smell lmao fan leaves are huge and thick make my hand look small. The vegetative tent is getting a little cramped can barely see the sour kush mixed in there even after a massive defoliation so time is near to start sending some to the flowering room. Changed nutrients a little this week added a touch more micro and 2.5ml of bloom depending on the growth week I may switch to transition to flower nutrients and start the move. Week 6: Seemingly over night this plant turned into a beast. “She”🤞started taking over the whole veg tent the leaves are massive and finally starting to smell like something other than fresh lettuce. I trimmed a couple massive lower leaves off and one off the main cola to allow more light. She put on 4 inches in height this week to pretty impressive. All the undergrowth stretched very nicely and is now equal with the main cola there are 6 equal branches and 2 ready to push through making 8 main bud sites from one small Lst session. Going to give her minimum another week to get a bit taller before flowering, I was going to switch them all this week but a massive defoliation and the encouraging growth from this plant made me decide to go another week. Regular week however my veg tent is to crowded so I am going to take another clone to be safe and let it recover for a day or two then I am going to flip “her”🤞this plant is really healthy thick pencil like stems and a fairly even canopy one or two branches slightly shorter as a result of the overcrowded veg tent. Flowering day 2: Been a busy week she got really bushy so I decided to do a large defoliation right before switching to flower seems how this plant has the perfect structure for it. Looking at the main stalk looks like a ships frame nice looking plant. I missed a night of watering so the coco dried more than I’d like but she still looks healthy. Flower week 2 day 8: Another busy disastrous week my dehumidifier stopped working and lowered my temps to 70-72 and about 64-65 at night the rh is also pushing 70% at night 80+ very unacceptable and I am waiting for my replacement dehumidifier should be here Monday thankfully it’s still very early in flowering. She finally showed me I have a female and started smelling a bit different has a nice skunk odour along with the scent of fresh lettuce before it was just a lettuce smell had me worried haha plant looks good and strong with nice structure. Flower week 3 day 15: Nice stretching this week some branches are a little weak near the top cause they grew so fast but that will balance out. She showing some signs of flower so I reduced the transition nutrients to flowering and raising ph very slightly over next few weeks. Flower week 4 day 23: She stopped growing upward and started putting on flower this week. The pot is drying faster and faster increasing water slightly daily until she slows a bit. Flower week 5: One of my other plants got some mites and only a couple made it on to the sour kush. Killed all ones I could see gave her a treatment of alcohol and water and a large defoliation which also had a second reward helping bring down humidity. Flower week 6: Recovery was slow blooming growth is a little slower than her roommates buds are smaller but still looking good. There is no more damage from mites on this plant “as yet” Hopefully these buds put on a little more size I know most kush I’ve smoked buds are generally on smaller side so hopefully that is the case. The late flowering defoliation sure didn’t help but still have some weeks to go. Sugar leaves give a smell of what I would describe as chlorophyll like I’ve smelt cleaning fresh herbs of it cooking. Smells very green lol the buds give off a near fresh slightly skunky lettuce or grass strange smell beside my skunk strains going think I’m spoiled with the skunks and anything else doesn’t smell appealing to me lol she still a nice plant though. Hard to clone this strain 1 of 3 survived and I never have problems cloning actually the one that did survive I thought was a goner but stood back up a day later and started again I was going to experiment with a few things with them for pollen but I will grow it out and finish with this strain doesn’t really interest me as much as other strains I have going.
