Months ago Royal Queen Seeds gifted me this Painkiller XL for medical treatments. I’ve given several tries to this one and allthough the final harvest wasnt that much, the effects were incredible. This time I wanna give a proper following for this amazing strain, and hopefully, i’ll get a better yield :)
Day #9: Plants continue growing healthy. One of the Painkiller got stuck with the seed wrapping and had to help her on day 5. Thats why the right-most one is smaller.
Day #17: Asked a friend to take a picture since I was on vacations. When I get back on Day #20 will make the final pot change
Day#21: added worm manure, em1 along with veg nuts. The little one recovered quite nicely
I read about ponytailing a while back and wanted to try something new with this ladies. We'll see the diferences for this :)
Painkiller is the one on the back
Day #24: Ponytail off
Day #25: Ponytail on
Day #26: Ponytail off last time. There is a difference in growth for lower branches. Next Time i'll use it on all the plants. Is an easy way to give more light to the little fellas.
Ponytailing was definitely a good idea. I just love this strain, how stretchy and thin it is, lot of inter-node space so light can go through, and the FIM worked in one of the plants so I got one extra arm xD. On the others, was just a topping. So fim is a fim this time lol. Next week will switch to bloom.
Stretching is more than enough to switch into flowering. I'm still trying to figure out if this plant should be topped and defoliated since on previous attemps, it grew big, but buds where not so big. This time I will not stress her too much and only made the topping in veg, no additional training during flowering. I'll just keep an eye to the nuts so they grow healthy :)
Next watering I will add Foliar guano and the rest to the soil.
Day #41: por is still with some weight, but there is one that is screaming for water. So ive adjusted the watering schedule. Looking goood so far. I will only make a dedo in the 3rd week probably.
These days have been tough for painkiller. I've been really busy and havent payed enough attention to the watering demand of these girls. I'm doing checks daily now, because every time i water them, they are sad af (two of them at least). The other one to the right was praying to the sky.
Day #48: watering fixed, ladies happy.
Day #53: Preflowers are appearing! the middle painkiller is building flower faster than the others, but the others are still stretching and lifting the rest of the lower buds. This will be a goood harvest. Although I got some trips, Im managing those with Potasic Soap. Watering Daily now, they are asking for it xD
Day #59: Continue watering daily. One day I waited until night and the leaves started to get sad u_u . So Daily, 1lt. improved the nuts to 5mg per liter since the flowers are growing fast and furious lol. Still stretching a little, slower, but growing. In a few days will give potasic soap again for the trips. It lowered, but there are still there
