AK-genetics are one of my favourites and I'm a big fan of things smelling like lemons. Folks at FastBuds were kind enough to send me some to try out. Big thanks to them :)
Time to start training. First I removed six leafs in total during couple of days to provide light to lower growth and tied bottom of the plant to make sure I won't twist it during LST.
After letting her recover from defoiling for couple of days I started tying mainstem down little by little.
I've changed some of my nutrients and I'll be recording their performance, since it's my first time using them.
Buds are forming up really nicely and there's a lot of them. She gives a faint whiff of flowers, but I'm pretty sure that's about to change in upcoming weeks.
She was a true powerhouse.
She grew strongly right from the beginning and flowered strong. She also took all training really well and developed multiple new branches. Buds are formed like sativa, long and thin yet Lemon AK produced quite tight buds.
She smells and taste amazing, first you pick up crisp sour and citrusy notes and when your nose gets used to it you start picking up earthy notes. As you spark her, you're first hit by euphoric headhigh which settles nicely as bodyhigh as time passes. Very much like traditional AK47, but more lemony in flavor profile.
Very nice and easy plant to grow and gets you good results. Smokes nicely, eventhough I'm more into indicas I like this a lot.

I think I managed to screw up drying a bit and ended up lighter harvest, but still I'm quite happy with outcome. Just need to not dry buds in growing room. Thanks for reading this diary 👌
Looks like it's doing really well with the LST - I'm currently doing a Fastbuds Zkittlez and I have super cropped it. It's taken very well too it and is showing no signs of stress. Check out my diaries if you get a chance! Happy growing
Hey, dude! Do you always count flowering stage since plant show prebloom white pistils in nodes? I count it from week, when it shows white pistils from the top...
@@dreambomber, As they start showing white pistils, I think it's quite common way to count. Seedbanks atleast mention 3 weeks to start flowering very often and I have very few exceptions from this.
Wow! That is an absolutely gorgeous plant! She's loaded! If I can achieve half of this awesomeness, I would be happy as a first timer with this strain. thanks for the inspiration man!
