i used standard soil, perlite and Mycorrhizae Fungi as my grow medium, at first i put a 2000w vander light squeezed into my stealth grow, made from a old bedside cabinet.
however the heat was ridiculous and i removed it in favour of a 40w cfl that runs like 200w, my intention was to use a 5 way splitter and increase the bulbs bit by bit until i had 4 cfl and one uv-b bulb, however i found a really cool light that uses spectral bead mixing which fitted perfectly so i decided to give it a try.
i dont believe in using a shed load of chemicals just to buff my yield, so i go organic and let the bacteria in the soil do a lot of the work for me, use tap water that has been left in a bucket for 48 hours in order to let the chlorine evaporate, but other than calmag and biobizz bloom i use nothing.
i will fim the tops and tie the plant down from time to time to aid side branching.
