Week 1 - Day 1 20L Super Air Pots with a bottom layer of clay pebbles, (an inch deep at the centre point) and topped off with Growdog’s 70/30 coco perlite mix. The tops of the pots are covered by green plastic water distributers to evenly spread the water from the 12” watering rings. 2 lights; each 300W actual draw, currently inside the tent. 2 more coming next week to make a total of 4, across the 6 plants achieving a true watt draw of 1200W. Aiming for 1g/watt Germinated seeds from FAST BUDS, were planted and hand watered using tap water pH’d to high 5.8 to low 5.9 with H&G Roots Excl. giving a nice PPM of 362 to start. The BudBox tent is a 2x2x2m, using a Medusa Boosted XL run off trays to a waste brain were the run off can be tested. This will then be recirculated into the feeding tank again. The feed tank will a standard 100L water butt, retro fitting pumps inside for Feeding and Pump to waste - for cleaning the tank out each week. Another 100L water butt will contain a store of filtered RO water which will fill the feeding tank. A 10L PureMate humidifier is set at 65%, along with 2x RAM 16” oscillating wall fans which are mounted to the top of the tent for maximum coverage - set to lvl1 on swing giving the 25°C. No extraction yet. This is ready and waiting. 8” HyperFresh fan with a RHINO 8”x600 pro filter. We are using 8” acoustic ducting.✌️🏻 Week 1 - Day 2 No change. Keeping the new environment stable is difficult. The humidifier is not large enough for the space. Week 1 - Day 3 Fed PH RO water this morning. Trying to keep the humidity up inside the tent. They have popped up! It begins :D Did a feed of 5.8PH RO with CocaA&B 0.4ml/l, Roots excl 0.3ml/l, Calmag 0.2ml/l for a 150PPM. 300ml was used to moisten the coco per pot. Extraction fully connected. Environment stable at 23-24°C, trying to stay at 23.3°C. Humidity fluctuating 47-60%, humidifier struggling, but hopefully be okay. Week 1 - Day 4 All 6 are up and reaching. Husks hopefully will pop off soon. Will be doing another small feed this evening to keep the coco moist. Little leaves have appeared!! Fed another 300ml, 5.8PH @ 151PPM/ plant. Week 1 - Day 5 All shooting up now, tallest at 5cm down to 3.5cm 🌱 I gently helped the last 2 husks off the smallest ones to hopefully even them up. Gave the coco 1L of RO water around the edges. Week 1 - Day 6 Nothing to report this morning. Another PPM feed to be done shortly. Soaked the coco until run off with around 3-4L per pot using 5.8PH nuit water; 0.4 Canna A&B, 0.2 Calmag, 0.3 Roots Excl. 152PPM. First time we tested the Medusa brain - works well and pumps away to the feed tank, need to change one of the low trays to be a boosted tray for better drainage. Giving 5 boosted trays and one normal. Hand feeding up until this point, but will connect up the automation in the next week. Week 1 - Day 7 Strongest are growing around 1cm a day now. Tallest 6cm, smallest at 4cm. Looking forward to next weeks progress :) Bought a wet&dry vac - best thing ever!! Haha. Cleans everything in sight plus all the water from the dirty run off. Lifted all the pots, still a good weight to them so no feed or RO water today I think. Bring on week 2! 💪🏻

Week 2 - Day 8 Smallest plant is quiet far behind the strongest now. Gave 100ml of nuits to try help. It should catch up in the next week🤞🏻 If anyone has any thoughts please let us know. Thanks! Will update on this plants grow in comparison the whole way now. NPK RAW nutrients have arrived🤘🏻 - so will be using these from now on along with the H&G Roots Execl. Waiting to pick up a GHE silica product as well, newly released DEC2019. The RAW GROW we have contains a small amount but more is needed. Having used Mr.Danks in our first ever grow with great results - a more potent silica has been advised to me! Picked up the pots again - still quiet heavy so won’t feed again, let the roots search.. Want to water or nuit to run off tomorrow to test. Week 2 - Day 9 Fed 4L RO water to test run off, 420-427PPM (haha). Before was 500. Using the RAW for the first time. We are not technically in week 1 of veg, but still seedling. Will feed RO for the moment, pots are not light but not heavy. Have the feeling the PK is too high, hence the yellowing on the inner parts of the leaves? The strongest seems to be steady, could potentially use a feed? Week 2 - Day 10 Going to leave them to do there thing, away this evening so will check in tomorrow. Week 2 - Day 11 Nice bit of growth. Pots still heavy no feed today. Week 2 - Day 12 Want to feed today to test the run off. Fed; 547ppm @ 5.8PH to the large three, then 450ppm @ 5.8PH to the smaller ones. Run off was a little low on PPM so needs more. PH run off too high, needs more through the medium for that 5.8! Week 2 - Day 13 Looking better today after a feed yesterday, the run off is still off way too high in PH, but EC spot on and 5.8PH in. Sooo....decided to get rid of the Medusa Trays for the moment. They are not effective enough for the space they take up and the limitations they have. This allows massive amounts of space inside the tent for more plants! 😄

Would like to ask a question about run off PH; have been trying to keep it at the ideal 5.8, however the run off has spiked to read 6.5PH. Have fed 5.8PH’d RO or nuits only. Passed 20L PH nuit through a 20L pot@4.5PH to try even it now 6.2. Very confused, keep going till 5.8?

Week 3 - Day 14 First day of week 3! The two biggest are going strong. Slight discolouration, might require another feed. Will rest run off EC today on all plants when feeding the sad looking one shortly. Will pass through 2-3L for small run off, still worried that we did not PH buffer the coco correctly hence why we are seeing a high PH run off of 6.8?? Decided not to feed as the pots are still heavy and the coco feeling moist still for over an inch deep. Week 3 - Day 15 Two are looking rather sad, one droopy one very stunted. Chose the droopy one and fed 4L to achieve decent run off to test; 5.8PH@600PPM. Results, 478-501PPM 6.6PH. Don’t understand why it is droopy, has been this way for 2 days. Help please! Have I overwatered it? Out the top two, one is more yellow than the other - can’t work out if it’s a deficiency or not. Maybe excess in phosphorus?? Due to new growth being yellow on the inner leaves and between veins, along with the thinner leaves? The second, greener but has a small twist in the growth - boron? Fed all plants with 4L 5.8@340PPM for a PPM Reading. End Readings of; 350,400,404,450,430,427. Tailored the outcome to the size of the plant, the previous fed of near 500 max was too much. This should hopefully stabilise them now🤔🤞🏻Been using tap water along with RO for micronutrients. End of day: looking much better! The droopy one has perked up😁 tiny one is showing very small signs of growth. Will just have to take extra care. Week 3 - Day 16 Mixed tap water/ RO added 0.2ml/L of Calmag. Will feed about 1L per plant to boost calmag intake and micronutrients 5.8PH@ 175PPM. Week 3 - Day 17 Feed day! Going for 1-2L per plant. 5.8PH@500PPM. Getting a nice little bit of growth showing now. Week 3 - Day 18 Fed 1-2L of 5.8@330PPM, just used tap water/ RO, to around 200PPM then added calmag 0.2ml/L, Roots excel 0.3ml/L. Week 3 - Day 19 Feed day! Will give 1-2L per plant again. 5.8@ 400-500PPM.

Week 4 - Day 21 Grow dog medium PH is very odd, personally feel it’s very poor... Have decided to transplant them into 11L pots to help their growth using CANA+ 60/40. Using a dusting of GREAT WHITE, to try help the roots transition. Week 4 - Day 23 Transplanted the smallest to try help it. Others are starting to get there, still slow going. Week 4 - Day 26 Topped one of the strong ones as a tester a few days back, forgot which day exactly. But it’s looking okay, will start training soon. The smallest is growing a bit...haha Transplanted another one out of the 20L airpot to a 20L fabric as the GrowDog medium is not right and we are unable to move the PH, don’t know what it was buffered to either. We have contacted the supplier and they do not know! So they are waiting a response from GrowDog...Anyway, its looking good, greener than the others!🤞🏻Hope it takes and is okay. Fed her 2L, 5.8@350PPM. Will wait for the medium to dry now and begin training soon. Starting to see signs of deficiencies now on the others due to the high PH issues inside the medium not sitting around the desired 5.8PH. Tempted to transplant the rest? Worried about shocking them as the airpots are not exactly designed for this and the roots will be quiet developed🙈

Week 5 - Day 29 Training the biggest 3 differently to compare results. Topped most nodes on one and LST. Just LST on another, and no training on the last. Will super crop the tallest later when they go to scrog. Feeding everyday - they are responding well. We have high drainage so this seems to be required. Tried leaving them and they drooped more so; feed, water, flush is the schedule we are going to follow. Week 5 - Day 31 (28.02.2020) Flush day 2-3L. 5.8@175PPM. Calmag 2ml/L, Roots Excl 0.3ml/L, Phosphorus 1.5ml/L Week 5 - Day 32 (29.02.2020) Training continues. RO day; Fed 5.8@18PPM Week 5 - Day 33 (01.03.2020) Fed 2L 5.8@527PPM. Light feeding is working well. Week 5 - Day 34 (02.03.2020) Fed aerated tap water, 2ml/L Calmag, 0.3ml/L Roots Excel. 5.8@257PPM. Week 5 - Day 35 (03.03.2020) Fed RO, 5.8@18PPM. They seemed to have drooped a little - so may need to use the tap water instead? They need some more it’s seems. Worried about salt build up, hence the flush inside the schedule. Smell from the stems in now appearing strong, will change to bloom shortly.

Week 6 - Day 37 (05.03.2020) Changed over to bloom. Still small, the beginning and GrowDog medium PH has set them back. Along with poor humidity in the tent to begin with and going straight into the 20L pots did not work for us this time. This is easily shown if you view our other diary of x4 purple lemonade - all strong and healthy. CANA 60/40🙌🏻 However, fed through 12-14L per plant to bring the PH to 6.0; looking for 5.9 ideally. Still pulling itself up to high, more regular feeding required?? Will try feeding morning and night now to see if PH can stabilise more. PPM’s okay, slightly too high. Got the 5.9 :) so hopefully progress will be made through flower. Not expecting amazing results. Week 6 - Day 38 (06.03.2020) Fed water 5.8@275PPM Week 6 - Day 39 (07.03.2020) Fed water 5.7@275PPM. Trying to lower run off PH inside the medium. Week 6 - Day 40 (08.03.2020) Fed bloom 5.8@402PPM
